Got roughly 500hrs under the belt and have had it destroy both own and opposing units. Doesnt happen often though, but if its so extremely rare, it shouldnt be in at all. It fkkn hurts when it crashes into your vet 3 schrecked up pgrens.
Never realised flamers dont explode on penals. :/ my mistake. Havent built them very often, and dont like to upgrade them because they might go up in flames, but if thats not the case then I might reevaluate the unit. |
I dont think there should be a specific game mode for tournaments. Not even a competetive player. Still, some of your points are very good.
1 - planecrashes. Fun when it happens to the other guy, not fun to be that guy. No reason for it to be in the game as it is right now.
2 - Flamethrower-crits, atleast happen to often and you risk losing to much. If this was slightly reduced penals, engies and pios would be more valid fightingunits overall.
As for breaking ice, think it works well and makes sense. Have no issues with it.
Abandoned vehicles tip the tide yes, but think it actually adds flavour and doesnt happen all that often. Think its ok. |

Im not going to defend the performance of the stug IIIe but when comparing to T70 you also need to factor in tech-cost. You can build the StugIIIe without teching at all, it will then be alot cheaper than the t70. Still, for ostheer not to tech at all seems like kind of a horrible idea, so the "lower" cost is really not really there. |

This has nothing to do with poor latency from a P2P connection. To be honest it is just shit coding from Relic, which they need to fix or CoH2 will NEVER be anything more then a mediocre retarded step child to what vCoH was.
Relic, can you confirm this? Is the CoH2 animations causing the input lag? Won't hold my breath for an answer.

Also, it seems you havnt read patchnotes, followed threads on this, read posts in this thread or watched cast on latest patch. Read up on what has been done, what can be done and what is being considered for the future. |
I have noticed recently in teamgames that this is becoming more frequent. Happened both pre and post latest patch. Mostly post patch though.
Problem. When loading a 2v2 game I can see that everyone but 1 player is loading. However when talking to my pal on skype, he says all players loaded just fine. So what I see doesnt match what other players see. This leaves me on a loadingscreen while they get into the game. Game then freezes and waits for me, but since my computer waits for another player, my own loadingbar full, it just ends up in a freezefest. Only way to get rid of this seems to be restart game. Hasnt just happened to me, but my 2v2 friends as well. Have had this happen more or less once every 10-15 games (4-5 times total in 2 weeks).
Feels somewhat like a bug, does any one have a suggestion? |
Think half of your posts are remove the p2w commanders by now Kalismist. Wake up already, they will not remove the DLC commandersystem. |

Soviet:
-T34s are more viable than when you played most likely.
-PPsH upgrade not that strong (still good)
-Soviet industry commander with reduced mp income and increased fuel and almost 0 buildtime for tanks. Watch out for the only female commander.
- Heavy strafe at the end of doctrines obliterates infantry when there are no ostwinds on the field (Very debated commander)
Ostheer:
-Smoke on tanks ALOT more expensive (40 muni now)
-Elite troops doctrine with pay mp and fuel for vet on your units and finishes with a free tigerACE callin but sets income to 0 for 10 mins. (Very debated commander)
Other than that, tanktraps are in the game again, however doctrinal and almost never used, since most of the other abilites in thoose commanders are not that potent.
Less input lag now since they fixed some animations. You will still get input lag when playing ppl from far away, but units do respond better now.
A total veterancy overhaul. No more indestructable flame-HTs or scoutcars. A rule of thumb is that units get better at their role. A scoutcar will get faster and get more viz for one thing. Can try to find a link later.
Most balancepatches have been for the better. However the commander releases have been... an issue to say the least. The first the assaultgren, then the elite troops and soviet industry. This is why they didnt even release any new commanders latest patch. Hopefully meta can stabilize somewhat now. |
