2 USF vs 2 OKW |
Okay. Now that ptrs have now been reworked only penals have benefitted from it. Cons still however opting for the ptrs upgrade their AI capability drop so low that their anti-infantry capabilities is non-existent that they would even lose to charging squads.
Take a look at guards for example having both mediocre anti-tank and anti-infantry capabilities with the dp28 upgrade improves them further. Why can't the same be done with PTRS cons? since ptrs cons are already non-existent and getting the upgrade is giving yourself a handicap. |
Why not? |
Shouldn't be mutually exclusive yes? Yes. |
Both are late game tanks and is considered close to ending games or gaining superiority but when you compare the performance of these two the panther is just a CLOWN. Comet has a handful of useful abilities that just come at VET 0 and even more abilities getting to vet 1 gaining the ability to throw a grenade which is a obnoxius design and think why it has ever existed in british tanks. Panther is balanced but Comet is also??? Hmmm??? |
Thank the guy who is microing their ambulance just to heal you or maybe you could be that guy. You'd be surprised that there are really good teammates out there. In 4v4 they would even give you an ambulance. |
Trash grens, make ostruppen mainline. Ostruppen fits better to the theme of ost being a defensive faction. Ostruppen combined with pgren and mg42 works so well since ostruppen won't bleed a lot of mp giving you the option the get and reinforce your pgrens but let's say I got 3 grens instead of ostruppen and everyone knows grens on their own is bad and will lose most engagements. They bleed so bad that their reinforce cost is close to an elite unit but is nowhere near the performance.
The t4 upgrade for inf was a good idea but still doesn't solve the early game ost problem. Getting a vetted gren is strong but getting a gren in the late game is a bad idea since they won't survive the few minutes and gets chopped up by everything they encounter. T4 5th man is a good idea but however if it was placed in the early game t2 maybe? it would improve gren performance in the early to mid game.
Let's compare ostruppen and grens:
Ostruppen 6man, has t1 faust, has a cover bonus and on top of that it can build its own cover! (What?! A condition itself can satisfy), T4 LMG upgrade.
Grens 4man, have stock faust, riflenade, lmg.
Riflemen approaching ostruppen in cover = Ostruppen mostly wins
Riflemen approaching grens in cover = Grens lose
Ostruppen outperforming grens is laughable since grens should obviously be better but they are not.

Why didn't they made it like a normal bunker where you have to build it then upgrade it. Instead it is seperated by being a repair station and an mg station. It even has 2 or 3 slots to be garrisoned by infantry but can the infantry inside even fire? How do the units move inside, how many models can fire per each side of the bunker? |
Costs so much mp maybe on par with bofor cost? Can i just get a empty one and put my mg squad in it? Maybe in a more reasonable price?
Concrete Bunker* |
I have used it a bunch now and Im still confused if its good than it used to be. I think its not that good for its price. It will usually face off tigers and panthers and it will surely lose in soloing those tanks so you have to get another or give it support. Its like a 50/50 AT and AI with a mix of rng. Maybe its veterancy should be reworked? It has a ability to throw a grenade and a vet to passively grenade. I wanna know the thoughts of other people on it. Maybe im just using it wrong. |
