an interesting argument was brought to me. that doing these things would drastically increase the drop rate something relic doesn't want to do. so in order to make it work they'd have to make drops even rarer or add a lot of items. (otherwise you'd have all he items to fast negating the dlc structure etc...)
so basically my problem now is that if you are going to have duplicates there needs to be a use for them this is important because it helps keeps player interested in the system they aren't focused on not another dupe and more focused on 2 more and i can get something. or whatever the numbers may be as obviously having like 5 dupes to craft something there just isn't enough content. it also adds a level of interactivity which isn't there now. the more and more i think about the more complex i feel the solution is. so im going to write out a huge essay about what i think needs to happen to properly complete and flesh out there system.
as for this idea you have presented the more i think about i kinda like it but id puprose somthing slightly differnet every time you get a drop have the faction icons you get to choose which faction you get a drop for. idk picking the item takes away the random element alot and the surprise and suspense from the system that i think is very good thing it also adds the ability for the user to fuck up and pick the wrong one after you do it 200 times what do you expect.
The SU85 nerfs were timed when both the PiV and Panther received mobility nerfs. Both of those have been units have now received increased mobility. In addition a new faction has come out with the Puma. Something needs to be done to make this unit worth while to build because as it stands I can just rely on any series of armor call in's that do a better job than the supposed "dedicated AT" SU85.
I dislike comparing units directly but the shock value of a JagdPanzer compared to a SU85 is laughable. If the price needs to go up to allow the SU85 to at least compete than so be it. As a "dedicated AT" it sure does a lack luster job late game.
honestly i don't think the jadgpanzer 4 needs a nerf but the su85 i feel needs a buff.
tbh i think that the technical issue with impletnting it is the animations are already a problem in this game adding more sounds like a bad idea.
then we go to gameplay it sounds like a nice idea but in realm of coh i think it would be bad in general for the game. that and this game wasn't designed for melee in mind i feel the only way it could work is if they made melee (only) units which wouldn't really fit in ww2.
I am impressed very good pole. though it could have done with a few more options on some questions. or a few more poles to divide up some of the questions.
hacking i don't think is an issue though im sure a small minority if any do hack. (just reality pretty much no matter what game you play someone will find a way to cheat)
Soviets are over performing in 2v2 as well as you can have access to every tier and that hasn't been fixed.
Lets not compromised 1v1 balance due to team games issues.
