Thread: USF infantry upgrade1 Aug 2018, 02:51 AM maybe make unit that support eh riflemen a bit better like the rear echelon. or maybe reduce riflemen price and reinforce a itty bit. or reduce riflemen price a lot but limit number of special weapon bought to only 1 per squad(but hey woudl look a lot like brits...). Thread: Sturmofficer is boring to use...1 Aug 2018, 02:30 AM Its not a bad unit but god is it boring to use... it doesn't squale its not a good fighting unit... so you just put it in the back and profit... its boring... why not give it ammunition and cooldown based skill like the artilerie officer(which i would use more if the commander with it were better)... and give it a veterancy stuff. give it a better fighting power... and up its cost or pop cap a bit. what do you think abotu this unit? Their CQC DPS will go down thanks to SVT's and midrange combat will still be more preferable for Volks than close combat with Shocks. Grens with G43 will actually do better against them at close range too you only get 2G43 for the upgrade and usually as you get closer you will easily kill 1 model even in green cover then the second will fall soon enough and he will have to retreat or get obliterated. my only complain is that both grenade have the same cooldown...but he double grenade spam was cancer because it was very hard to see the nade in the smoke before it was too late. maybe if they was a small cooldown to avoid dual spam... like a 1-2second cooldown(mayeb less) between smoke use and normal nade. shock seem to be very good at stalling and flanking...but maybe a bit too reliant on the map config, and a bit too weak vs AOE like tank and mortar...their supposed to wear armor vs small arms and shrapnell et get demolished by any AOE In: COH2 Balance

Thread: Why the current popularity of Moblie Defense?1 Aug 2018, 00:22 AM tellermine are costly(and only pionner can put them) this early since usualy you battle for fuel and wont be sure to get ammo as ost. and pak40 isnt the cheapest/most sturdy AT alternativ, its good as its reliable(in penetration at leas) but it certainly can't afford to be spotted they indeed arrive soon they just are very costly and require or a bit of luck(tellermine arent auto rolled upon) or good micro ATG needing a good placement to both have a good line fo sight and be far enough to not get rushed. panzershrecks arrive way later(and arent even good, sicne their so squishi)... if you can panzerschrek you already have quite a fuel advantage on your opponent. Thread: Grenadier rifle grenade.1 Aug 2018, 00:03 AM I also think the rifle nade should get reworked a bit to be more easily spotable, put a little symbole when the grenade is thrown? but maybe also do it for other thrown abilities?. and maybe make grenadier a bit harder to kill to compensate since their nade will go from being the hardest to being the easiest to spot.
