Thread: How to screen jacksons against medium tanks.6 Aug 2018, 16:05 PM As said before using you infantery as an ablativ shield for your jackson/tanks will work thx to generalist german tank being less AI than the allies ones. anti vehicules mine help a lot too and since they are cheaper there is no reason to not use and abuse them also neevr forge that you can repair your vehicule with your crew something the german cant so even nto killing the vehicule mean he will have to use pionner or sturmpio to repair its tank In: US Forces Strategies

Thread: Sherman howitzer bulldozer6 Aug 2018, 00:32 AM yeah its almost an auto squad wiper because its pretty much a arty canon with mg on it. its aim is quite bad before it vet, if you dotn stop your playing russian roulette. In: COH2 Balance
Thread: Mortar Smoke Rounds 6 Aug 2018, 00:29 AM the problem of smoke is that it counter very specific situation and units, those units that need to see what they shot and cant just cross the smoke MG and defensive positions mostly becasue most other unit can simply shot ground like mortar howitzer and canons or pass throught like infantery and vehicules this is the true reason people dont enjoy using smoke on mortars worse smoke and classic barrages are linked on the same cooldown thus once one is done you have to wait to use the other(not very long usually but still a wait) personally i use smoke ont he arformentionned units and on cap points to be able to take them even with low amount of units( i will take it with no shot fired but it can help tremendously. Thread: Flame Hetzer2 Aug 2018, 14:55 PM Jump back to quoted post2 Aug 2018, 13:09 PMullumulu it is clearly a t2 unit which should available at the 8min mark...when you look at its actually status. available from 8cp and after building schwerer...is way too late to be ok. man calm down it can be nothing more than a t3/t4 unit... its too well armored for T2. it had three big problem: -too costly a pz2 will do the same and be more nimble and can stealth assault -excruciatingly slow veterancy and low starting power(slow turn slow low damages) vs veterancy bonus being extremely high (almost pz2 fast almost double dps) -cant frontally tank enough to be a breakthrought unit like it should the fact that OKW is already quite filled with AI can be annoying and reduce the need to use of this unit but feuersturm commander is supposed to be a situationnal commander In: COH2 Balance
Thread: AI Grenade ratio usage per faction from GCS2 quali2 Aug 2018, 02:58 AM Personally i think its because OKW and OST have to win its (early) engagement fast and hard... They cant allow firefight to last early because their infantery usualy cost more to reinforce and take longer to reinforce than the allies. They cant stay with a 2-3man squad in fear of being insta wiped so they need to push the ennemy back fast. german grenade also have the most interesting effect (long range, damage+fire effect.) So they spam grenade way more... In: COH2 Gameplay
Thread: Flame Hetzer2 Aug 2018, 00:35 AM -hetzer just need a good frontal armor buff, it was a hard nuts to crack. -the flame damage are okayish...wouldn't be against a buff... and it may need a special spray skill that put fire in a cone to go with the doctrine of putting everythign on fire. -maybe a little fuel price decrease. what a bit ridiculous is how he get easily penned by ligth anti tank solution like ATrifle also when he reach vet3 he finaly melt infantery In: COH2 Balance
Thread: Early obersoldaten1 Aug 2018, 21:04 PM obersoldatent main weaknesses are: -4man squad so easy wipe with gammon bomb and other cooked nades. -meh without upgrade since they overkill targets a lot -costly to produce and reinforce -super slow to heal and reinforce... -get wiped by light med and heavy tank in 1-2shells.and other AOE unit like mortar strenght: -excellent veterancy -good mobility thx to very good accuracy even when moving -high damages can almost one shot soldier out of cover -win all engagement 1vs1 thx to a good combo of stat+skills In: OKW Strategies
