uhh conscript PPSHs drop in DPS sharply beyond range 10... far more than volk mp40 do... at range 20 volk mp40s have the more DPS as the mosin nagant at 2.7 vs 1.9 while cons ppsh have 0.691
Just checked. Conscript PPSh's were the only combat unit SMG that didnt get buff. There you go. that explains why they suck balls
To add insult to injury cons also get 3 smg's compared to 5/6 of volks and assgrens, I guess 3 PPSh' were "too strong" to do anything beyond point blank |
Do Con PPSh's still have old SMG DPS curve where they deal no damage beyond 10m range? Changing that and maybe reducing upgrade cost would be enough |
I wonder what kind of genius at lelic though of giving maxim smallest firing arc in the first place considering it always had worst supression. Maybe it's relic from time when it could packup and setup quickly but thats irrelevant for long while. |

Now that command panther is out of meta for good, spec ops flares, while I agree with you, still are pretty OP, aren't such a big issue anymore.
But yes, to encourage more use of new UHU we could nerfs pfussies flares a bit.

Rockets strafe was never OP, it's just cheesy on small maps and useless on large ones. You cant balance that ability it's either nukes enemy tank or you just wasted your own T-34 and 100 munitions on top of that.

I've said this a few times before, but I'll throw it out again: Soviet Mobilized Reserves only needs to lose the 7th man while keeping everything else to be balanced.
This has several positive effects:
1) No more one-shot volley. 7*12=84 damage. IIRC one-shot volleys were being removed from the game wherever possible. Why should Soviets be special snowflakes?
2) 14.3% less damage and 14.3% less survivability. This tones down the raw power significantly without sacrificing any of the amazing utility benefits conscripts need.
3) The removal of the sergeant model. This model is not only historically innacurate (shoulder boards are far, FAR past 1945), but also has no winter model, and is really deform-happy with team weapons.
4) Bolster on top of a 6-man squad plays even more into the stupid "sOvIeTs hAVe iNfiNte mEn" stereotype. Stereotypes should be avoided whenever possible to be fair to all parties.
If this strikes you as an over-nerf, feel free to tone the actual buff modifiers to hit the sweet spot if necessary. I, for one, would welcome the lowering of the benefits (alongside removal of the 7th man) in exchange for global upgrade + freed up weapon slot as an example.

They are fine as unit but come too late and in muni heavy doctrine, meaning you have to forget about svt cons and dshks if you want to field them... which is why nobody gets them first place.
They more of a doctrine issue, if Para-Guards were in tank hunters doc for example they'd be seen a lot more often |

I am talking about 2v2 mainly, so keep that in mind.
The Jagdtiger at this point is just an Elefant without 222 and spotting scope support. The unit isn't used in any somewhat high-level 2v2 games and when I used the JT it never worked well enough to make up for it's insane cost. IMO it's pretty damn bad. Why would I get a JT over two non-doctrinal JP4s? They will deal way more damage against anything but IS2s or maybe ISU and at the same time have camo, better mobility and a smaller target size. Considering there is a new balance patch coming can this unit please get some help? Make the AI barrage more effective? Give it back 80 range? Give back armour? It desperately needs something.
You just answered your own question. Use JT against allied heavies and JPZIV against anything else. JT most certanly does not need anything else considering how cancerous heavy TD's are in team games |
