50s-70s NATO vs Warsaw Pact/Proxy wars would have been very interesting. 80s-00s modern stuff is extremely boring to me. I'd rather another WW2 setting over modern stuff. |

My units seem to always require closer distance to engage enemy units, I'm trying to figure out what I'm doing wrong.
An example would be I have a riflemen squad and the enemy has a volks squad, the volks will be able to engage my units and shoot at them but my riflemen just sit and do nothing and take damage, when I click on them to engage, they will have to move out of cover and approach the volks squad (by about an inch on my monitor).
This happens constantly over all sorts of terrain, units (IE my tommies will not engage grens that are shooting them and need to move closer when told to engage) and maps so I don't think it's from them 'not seeing the enemy' through shot blockers or something like that. |

Modern warfare 1990-present seems really boring/uninteresting
NATO/Warsaw Pact era 1950-1975 would be very cool and original and there are not many games deal with that setting.
COD Black Ops made great use of this period, there is Vietnam, but there is so much history beyond that in this era that is largely untapped by game developers, the potential is vast.
Proxy Wars, lesser known stuff in the middle east, etc.
There is a massive issue regarding how PC correct all media has become in the past 15 years, and I'm sure relic will not want to offend potential customers, we live in an era where Nazis are the only accepted villians/opposition in games. |

L2P problem
I have not seen professional players complaining about the Rear Echelon. This is done by noobs, the same people, the same nicknames on this forum over and over again. Including you too. Just use smoke and flank, and the MG42 will not be a problem

Is there some weird cache the background flags cause? I deleted those files, I didn't have any lag in the lobby after I did that for about a day or so, now the game is incredibly laggy in the lobby once again, and the flags are not there either. |
