Thread: COH 2v2 Tourney11 Dec 2014, 11:40 AM This last way too long. Just a few more days and it´s christmas and the tourney should be finished before christmas. It would be sad if the tourney fails because of one guy. You got someone else you can play with? Otherwise i recommend to kick Team Allstars. The other guys waited long enough. I want to see and cast the finals. In: COH Central

Thread: 100% subjective review of AA6 Dec 2014, 22:00 PM AA reminds me of the good old days when Relic introduced the strategic map in the campaign of DoW 1 Dark Crusade. It was brilliant. Seven total different armies were fighting for the control about the planet. You could play with each of them, the ai toke control over the rest. The ai conquered territory and fought you and the other ai´s. And each territory was important since the gave several boni like an unit for your honour guard or more resources. Sure, the most missions were just skirmishes (but the fights for a factions main fortress were really nice) and the howle story was text based but hey, it was new and it was cool. In AA you got two armies, just one is playable. Your opponent does nothing. He is just there. Half of the missions are skirmishes. I really like the briefings and the missions intros. The kompanie system.. not sure about that. I feel it´s just there so you play more careful and don´t just spam the ai to death. It´s not a bad idea but it is not a good one either. For sure the DLC is way too expensive. The system itself is cool but Relic could have done way better as they did in the past. In: COH2 Gameplay

Also my additional objective was to kill PIV and i had no chance to do this. My Sherman was too late and he had no chance vs the PIV.. . In: Campaign & Co-op

Thread: Where do I report players?30 Nov 2014, 14:50 PM It’s a great feeling to win a game of Company of Heroes 2. To watch your tanks roll into your opponent’s base and deliver the killing blow can be an incredible rush, as can winning a Victory Point match as the last points tick down at the top of the screen. Unfortunately some people find that winning is so important to them that they’ll do anything to win, even if what they’re doing takes any meaning from that victory. The fact that people are willing to cheat to beat other players at video games means that even in the generally awesome CoH community we get people trying to gain unfair advantages. While I proposed to SEGA that I travel to the homes of everyone who cheats at our games and give them a big hug and tell them that it’s okay and that they’re good people who don’t need to cheat at a video game to feel important, that turned out to be kind of expensive. So instead we formed the Relic Enforcement Team. They don’t give hugs. The Relic Enforcement Team will work to ensure that those who cheat at our game are removed from further play. They will also be reviewing any hacks or mods that allow for players to cheat in multiplayer modes. If you believe that you have been the victim of a player who has cheated please contact the team at enforcement@relic.com. Send a replay, any relevant screenshots and as much detail as possible to the team and they will investigate. Anyone who is found to be cheating may have their ability to play Company of Heroes 2, or all Relic games revoked. The team will also be working with Valve and so further action could be taken against a player’s Steam account. In a perfect world we could give everyone hugs and high fives for being awesome. It also refers to the word "oben" which freely translated means in englisch "above". A german military rank for example is "Oberst". It is a legit german word. You are right. Still, obersoldat makes no sense in this context. All other units titel refers to their rank, function or type (vehicles). Obersoldat violates this rule. Honour Guard is bad idea either. There was no such formation in the Wehrmacht. It sounds like a parade formation, not like elite solidiers or veterans. Besides Guards is alread taken.
