That's a tad harsh, I think.
I watched your game, Batron -thank you for submitting it - and I am probably wrong, but it seemed to be a game you unfortunately threw away. As the meta evolves,there will doubtless be refinements which will help you hold the edge. e.g. you did not convert the T3, so you had no access to the Obersoldaten, and their vehicle 'heavies'- which I fully accept means a longer game. but this is not altogether unknown: e.g. 3Es/4Riffles in vCoH was a game of stalling.
The problem with OKW, ( I think), is that with 2 evenly matched players,OKW is inherently campy,which may not suit your laudable, aggressive play style. TBH, I do not like OKW, bcs it invariably seems to mean you have to stall - to go down, in order to come up. OKW seems to be Britz with refinements,and I doubt if that appeals to many.
I am no whizz kid with the Maff - but I would be interested to know why Relic deemed it fit for the OKW to earn less per point than the Allies: if evened up, would it then make the OKW overpowering? Ciez probably knows the answer to this,but he has stayed tight-lipped
I couldnt get T3 because I had no fuel (i knew he was going for KV-8/IS-2) so i get jagdpanzer to counter it but unfortunately he had 2 ZiS and these also couln't be killed. OKW are cheaper version of soviets in this, volks are worse than cons because they can't do proper flanking, maxim is still OP and better than MG34, raketenwerfer is useless in closed maps with no buildings (like crossing in the woods). OKW has no tank that rapes infantry like every second soviet tanks, IS-2 can be called really quickly wheile those "powerful" OKW tanks are impossible to get in 1v1's. screw OKW, it's not even worth to play them atm |
Spam maxim? He only had one more MG than you for a large part of that game. His use of shocks and Cons was top notch though, Especially against your strums/falls in parts.

It pack up, set up faster and it's better in suppressing squads, and it's ofc 6 man squad which is really hard to beat with OKW infantry |
I would say US Forces definitely have the advantage over Wehrmacht.
US has with no doubt - better infantry in overall, that are versatile with proper upgrades and are decent to everything. US has because of that advantage over Ostheer in early game but what I've noticed is that ostheer can just get like StuG 3E's, paks and snipers to completely win the game, other units are optional.

but still, cons are better than volks, in combat and in reinforce cost, also they have AT nades that are enought for soviets to deal with OKW vehs (usually 100% penetration and engine damage) and Maxim is nearly unflankable because volks are not good in flanking stuff.

I did almost everything right and still i couldn't beat this crap.
What soviet did is maxim spam with 2 AT guns to counter every god damn OKW tanks/vehicles and shock troops to counter inf with a good results because volks cant put a good fight with them and fallschirms are only good at long range, in close they are already dead, in the end mighty KV-8 (thx for doing epic job with balancing this unit Relic) comes and wipes squads on retreat
gg wp, I think that I can't play OKW anymore, they are just lame |
RE has been overnerfed so much, I don't know how this squad can be useful, it sadly cant do anything useful, only repairing but all tank crew can repair so... |
When normal players spam units etc. everyone hates them. When someone "famous" player (like Barton) do that, It's fun and awesome.
there's difference when player who spam units do this because he want to win at all cost while I've done it for fun only |
