As an player I like the idea of coh3 having F2P MP. Let's face it, basedsecretary said it, nobody will bought 60$ for a strategy game and less for a niche one that is coh. About the cheater problem, I do play a lot of csgo and pubg and one way to deal with cheaters is to make the ranked mode wich are the ones where cheating make sens atteignable at a certain lvl. EG if coh2 went free for MP people would have to be like rank 50 before having the possibility of ranked matches. And from py personnal experience, I have had very few games paired with cheaters. So I like the idea of free MP. |
I totally agree on what esxile said player who want som "chill" game should have a space and right now, coh2 4v4 is hell for low rank players. They should really adress this point. As Rosbone said, when you want some casual play who is not vs AI where do you really go? like the open lobbys are mostly modded games so... |
well ofc the sight of pio's is pretty big but stating that they're OP seems a bit off, like mg can shoot from FoW maybe but then you back up and you avoid that part of the map? Idk, or you have mortars, or you have LV's like there are tools to deal with early mg's plus pio's sight range. I can hardly see where the issue is tbh. |
tbh, indeed faust could be helpfull earlier as okw but clown cars early game isnt that bad of a threat, 1st you have the time to cap a good portion of the map before the flamer + car is on and then when it happens, you just turtle until you get enough damage on the car. Dealing with scout cars as okw is hard but when you know how to deal with em it's kinda easy. And as some people said, passed the 10/15min mark, penals and clown cars are just useless and when you go for T1 as sov, backteching towards T2 is mostly the play. These are my 2cents but for 1's. |

AS i've read this topic I feel this come down to adaptation issue. Like as a "good" coh player my answer to fallshirm spam is either Light vehicule as some people pointed out, mg, or mines and if u end up facing 3 fall from one guy who seems to be around rank 500 i'd totally go for an AEC. Fall dont have snare and just are hard AI, fall arrives at 2 cp, wich means the okw has at this point normally, 1 sturm, 2/3 volks, the next 3 fall are a huge investement, which normally means no mg nor raketens. So go for LV's or as brit go for mg in trenches as you have more vision at vet1.
In the end, if u want a real feedback provide us with a replay and we'll be able to have a better sight of your problem. |

well the black is a piece of hardware that is based off the churchill when you see it in game it doesnt stick out that much in the game I FELL. That's why i dont mind, it is just a modified churchillnot like a totally new piece of tank, that's is why I dont mind. like an SKS doesnt look like a WW2 rifle nor an AS44. In the design it fits for me. BUT I get that you don't like that. |
SOV and UKF fighting together is a dispensation made for gameplay, though. It's not "correct", but there's no real gameplay justification to preventing any combination of allied forces vs any combination of axis forces, y'know?
Same for arbitrarily locking certain factions to certain "themed" maps. It doesn't improve the game in any way to do this. I really just don't consider that sort of thing in any way analogous to fantasy vehicles.
