Anyone else experiencing horrendous accuracy from King Tigers? Dunno why but almost everytime I get KT it misses 90% of the shots completely vs infantry targets. It's almost like the pre-"buff" KT was more reliable vs infantry than the current one. Any other heavy tank feels like having much better AI performance.
Oh and I think on maps with even slightest elevation you can completely forget about KT, then 99% of the shots miss
I already reported this once the last big heavy tank patch hit.
Something feels off with the KT. As you said it just misses targets too often even though it was meant to become more reliable. I often have it over or undershoot wildly, especially with any sort of elevation difference between KT and target.
Maybe someone from the mod team can look into it and confirm every stat is as intended?

At 0cp, 5 man, can we give recovery sapper grease gun profile? with the sweeper, they will only have 4 smg anyway, enough to defense again ass gren when combine with sections and use as flanker. I will give up the smoke grenade then.

Why would you nerf OKW at this point. They are already weaker than USF and Soviets. I actually find it easier to play vs OKW than Ostheer in 2v2. OKW is extremely predictable and can be beaten at their own game by simply out spamming and out blobbing them. The OKW Tiger was the only thing that made OKW good and now it's getting a quadruple nerf.
Not just that you can also endlessly bully OKW on linear maps by getting MG+sniper. Ostheer is way more versatile, unpredictable and capable of countering certain strategies. |
I know this isn't an issue for automatch but the UKF base medics are used like mainline infantry by the AI. I noticed this when testing a map. It completely ruins UKF for comp stomps. It should be kept in mind considering there are plenty of people who play custom games vs AI.
UKF AI on expert = get 2-3 medic squads and use them at the frontline like normal infantry + build 2-3 HQs at random locations and then get PIATS on the few infantry sections the AI builds. It's completely useless. At least USF and Soviet AI actually spams combat units. |

From my test games with the winter mod, I don't think UKF will be anywhere near the power level of USF and Soviets in 1v1 and to a lesser extend in 2v2. The basic problems of UKF will not change. They will still be very good against OKW on open long-range maps and will still suck against Wehrmacht in general and also suck vs OKW on maps with lots of shot-blockers like Kholodny, Elst, etc. I really don't think they will change that much.
4 Cons into T70 or USF rifle spam with Pak Howi + LV is still going to be way better than anything UKF can come up with. |

IMO if the balance team really wants to change the Maxim something like this could be considered.
Dhsk --> 50 cal clone with slightly worse suppression, offensive and mobile
Maxim --> Price to 280 MP, Build time extended, Pop Cap increased, MG34 suppression, arc and set up time but same DPS as current Maxim.
That way Maxim spam will be hard to pull off but getting 1 Maxim will still make sense in a combined arms playstyle as a defensive MG similar to what the MG34 does for OKW but Soviet theme 6 man crew.
