I am getting rekked currently.

Usually, at least one of the opponents is OKW. While we're waiting for the hotfix for the obviously OP JLI, what can I do to hold my own? Assume no Pershing.

Rifles do not trade cost efficiently versus the Volks+JLI combo at any range. 50 cals die after half a burst and the double cloaked raketen means any time my Shermans and Jacksons are not screened by infantry 20 meters in front of them, it is a matter of time till they blow up out of nowhere. Later, Panthers come to mop up any vet0 armor I may have just rebuilt, and Sector Assault has made me religious.

Now I know this is a lot of theorycrafting and I am not saying it is impossible to win. But I am 6 ranks behind with my USF compared to all other armies, so there must be something I am missing.

I'd welcome any advice.

I´d say you understood the essence of playing USF 2v2 against OKW pretty well.

Whoever had it used against them in the testing grounds would have noticed how broken it is surley? I noticed the first time it was used against me and saw how BS it was as did thr majority of other people.

Most people never play the mods when balance patches are in the works. That´s why stuff like this happens.

Though i should save the clip of it. But this is happen to me when i use this ability on my opponent.

After the sector artillery ability is done, i move my troops up to spot some ally enemies, then out of nowhere the bombs drop on them. AFTER The ability has done. I believe is because i activated the ability but because no sight on the area the bombs didn't drop, but after the ability the effect is still present. I saved the replay. Maybe i should upload that clip once i am free

Happened to my opponent yesterday too. Way after the ability has ended his T34 and repairing engineers got destroyed by my Sector assault and they weren´t even close to where I called it in. So weird.

Its not OP though.

10% acc boost helps get you more hits as well, especially on infantry clusters/ blobs.

Had a P4 (not KT) fire a shell on the move and hit twice against a retreating squad, I was pretty happy.

Accuracy has next to no impact on shooting tank guns against infantry. What matters against infantry is scatter and AOE. When tanks shoot at infantry they miss in 99% of the cases because the infantry models are way too small. The accuracy matters against tanks, that´s what it is designed for. The reason why main guns of tanks still do damage despite basically missing every shot against infantry is because of AOE. Scatter means how far a tank can miss when it misses.

So the +10% accuracy matters only really helps when fighting vs vehicles.

The arty ability that the tank commander gives is alright but there are usually other ways of indirect fire available, either doctrinal or Stuka. I didn´t find it to be too useful because AT-guns (which is what it would probably be best used against) aren´t a big thread against the KT anyways. The small sight buff is ok too. Still nothing that would make me want to go Elite Armour in my OKW games.


Panzer Commander just doesn´t fix the main things that hold the KT back: horrible scatter, way too high vet requirements, turret rotation, insanely high pen Allied TDs.
