The only thing I wanted to say kubels are cool but far from uncounterable, especially the spam of them. Spam WC51 Jeep I've chased one kubel through the whole game once without any success. It was just enemy's skill. Sorry I'm typing on my phone. "Linked" should have been kubels (don't ask me how autocorrect got linked lol). So you have to go mechanized, what is regarded as one of the worst doctrines past 15 minutes, in order to counter kubels? That doesn't really hold up, as usf should be able to counter spam of a t0 stock unit with t0 stock units. In: US Forces Strategies

And you are talking about riflemen's struggle It's all rng. Kubels don't get penetrated by rifles all the time but on the rare occasions that a bunch of rounds do penetrate that seems to happen. Have you ever played against linked as usf? Because it's a very valid struggle as long as they keep the kubels at long range. In: US Forces Strategies

Tho i dont want to make OKW into OST, it might be better to have the MG in base building but behind a side tech cost. That way it would be like USF teching nades (which OKW dont have to do). The fact that okw gets powerful assault troops, the kubel, and an at gun (only marginally useful, but still there) right off the bat means that they really shouldn't get a t0 mg. Might as well make isgs and obers t0 too if you go that route kappa. In: COH2 Gameplay

Vickers still has insane dps for a stock mg (not quite as good as the .50 though) but its suppression is very lacking at all stages of the game. Two volks running straight at it about 10m apart will definitely be able to nade it. I would literally rather have mg34s than maxims now. @OP I think that the mg34 is definitely a subpar mg in general, but it also has the misfortune of being compared to the mg42, which is an outstanding mg. The 34 deals hardly any damage but I think its suppression is serviceable, and you do have stgs out the ass to back it up as well. One of the most frustrating things in teamgames is when an ost and okw set up an mg42 on key battle areas (fuels on red ball for example) and have volks and sturm(s) in support, because without mortars, it's extremely hard to break. That still holds true later in the game as well, but if okw got a good mg like the 42, it'd be wayyy worse. In: COH2 Gameplay

How fast they gain XP depends on what they are shooting at. For example, the Brit sniper will vet faster shooting at obers or other snipers as opposed to ostruppen. I would guess it also gains a lot of XP dealing dmg to vehicles so it all depends on what the sniper is firing against. Since most axis infantry cost more than allied ones (per model that is) the Brit sniper should vet faster than the Ostheer one assuming it's hitting targets as often as the Ostheer sniper. Technically speaking the Ostheer sniper has faster ROF and aim time but again, it typically has to kite the enemy meaning it's not firing that much faster. Summary: Brit sniper vets as fast as ostheer sniper. Huh. When I use ostheer or soviets, my sniper always seems to vet way faster. I think it is just the slower rof then. Also, volks are cheaper than tommies and rifles, and so are weapon teams (priority targets for my sniper usually). In: COH2 Balance

The ramaining 2 have a late game armour callin. There is really not much to complain about in that regard. Cept airborne. P47s are the best way to waste muni since perimeter overwatch.
