Command Panther could perhaps lose the coordinated fire ability and gain a better passive combat aura instead. I'd put Sturmtiger in Special Operations because it fits the doctrine theme way better than the JT. Combination of flares and Sturmtiger is good, but not as powerful. I think JT is fine in Breakthrough. Perhaps it could go to Overwatch, Breakthrough could be given a Tiger I callin. For variety's sake. If comand panter is in the mix again can we look into dropping the KT exclusivity. I belive this was preposed before but fell though during patchwork. In: Lobby

And I'm not talking about 40 DPS far either here. 20 far, 40 close with all MGs would do the trick, only issue that would need to be resolved is the scaling, cutting off some reload time into MG accuracy would be needed to counter act infantry rec acc vet. I do like my main gun aoe yes. An mg skewed damage profile would make the tank more of a passive damage output source from a more dynamic one. Just an example, as a rifle squad would close on a p4 for a eng crit, the movement over and through terrain would increase the changes of squad stacking and subsequent “RNG wipes”. I would argue you live by the sword, die by it. Use cover to close safely or roll the dice on the open charge. I feel a mg damage profile would reduce the decision to a simple health check. Sure the cannon might do a bit but the risk is severely diminished. In: COH2 Balance

But people prefer OHK main cannon hits I guess as I got maybe 2 people to back me up on that. I dont think that would make things more consistant. A DPS based primarily around mg damage would overpreform when it first hits the map due to little to no crater formation yet, and preform worse as the game progresses as cover becomes more avaliable. Furthermore, that would be a huge buff for AT inf in urban maps with abundant cover from the start of the game. In: COH2 Balance

Lets not pretend they are even close right now. KT at least sees the light of day occasionally. Blitz alone is far more vauable than any vet bonus IS2 gets, much less spearhead which is fantastic. I would not at all mind 3! tiers built and a fuel increase, should it hit near peak KT lethality at SOME point. In: COH2 Balance

At least most shots will hit and do something.... IS2 is a damn meme with a maybe 25-33% hit rate... These both need to be given some love. Agree with lower OHK radius for less skatter. But removing this feature and allowing shrek as a second upgrade would allow you to use them perfectly all game Early cqc specialist > Mid sweeper + decent support with 3 stg > End shrek + sweeper to support armour push but very little AI left In: COH2 Balance

You get punished and could just go for a regular Tiger for about the same initial cost which is only slightly weaker and can be called in again after a loss. Keeping the penalty is just overkill now. As I mentioned somewhere else, punishing a player for keeping a unit alife isn't good game design. Agreed. Some penalty is in order for the free vet, but the 90% or whatever it is is now excessive.
