I think all the KT would need to bring up the lethality is ungating the KT + Command Panther combo. The fuel requirements for both and the needed time to vet up both units to take full advantage of the buffs... it would be only OP at 1+ hr games and at that point if you let a panther get 10k+ xp its really on you. |
The problem is that you assume and by doing it, you can make lots of mistakes. Missjudging player skill means losing games, missjudging enemy units means losing strategies, missjudging balance means, well you already know.

If your enemy has time to buy a CP and KT for 450+ fuel, and you have not or could not get counters, that is not a balance discussion. |
Its still a unit limited to 1 and do you really see nothing wrong in KT being able to 2-shot most vehicles with CP mark target?
The only unit limited to 1 that could potentially not be exclusive is ST.
Is there an issue with Heat Rounds? By the time you would have CP + KT there should be plenty of vetted counters in the field. |
Can we please also looking removing the exclusivity of C. Panther + KT. It is no longer the super unit it once was (nerfed arrival, cost, and aura bonus).
With the KT in an awful spot, combining it with a CP will help bring it back into competition with C Tiger. |
Agree on complaints regarding OKW needing all tech trucks for tiger. Seems unnecessarily harsh when most other armies will naturally get all tiers.
Maybe add a global “heavy tank upgrade” that needs to be bought if there needs to be an artificial delay in heavy timings.
Also, the KT really needs some love. It is almost never seen anymore. |
Noone buys panther for ai, this always derails any conversations surrounding changing the unit. By the 15+ minute mark that amount of dps is negligible, even more-so at the ranges the unit should operate.
Remove pintle upgrade and give it a tank commander option, adding +5 range and maybe some accuracy. |
Now that command panther has been somewhat nerfed, in addition to earlier changes last few patches, can we look at removing its exclusivity with KT?
Yes they would make a strong combo, but with that much free floating fuel it should be an option. I feel this would help in 4v4s when allies reach critical mass of AT and something is needed to spearhead. |
USF is one of my fav factions and i remembre only very few times where MGs or Grens were an issue. it is mostly late game axis armor that is challenging to deal with.
And getting fucked by rocket/arty.
As people have said, pershing wrecks. While in that doc use rifles to lay sand for yourself everywhere. REs to wire off enemy side after. Use the mortar. Move it after barrages. |
They should at least try to include some KT changes like for the british snare.

Also with command panther, can we look at dropping the exclusivity with kt? If the king is going to remain lame at least allow a cp to eventually bring him back to glory (with literally 30+ mins of use for v5). |
