oh i just lose to this guy. i've got 90% map control then he go call in scarvenger doc and within a minute he put me back in my base and lose after that
pretty smart player
really? i played agianst him aswel. he did the same to me. but the problem was that it wasn't working out even tho i was usf xD. he wasn't flaking enaugh, made 4 rak and spammed ostwind... but i had a calliope. tbh if he would've won it, then he would've had to do it with encirclement xD. but the game is in replays but it's not really interesting tbh. he didn't try i think. i think he can be better, atleast i hope. cause tbf that felt like playing a lvl12 (no offence to tiramisu. he's a better player then i am). |
I'd recommend, especially on a somewhat allied favored map as Kholdney Ferma is, to focus two sides of the map as Ost. I'd recommend top and middle as it's closest to your base of operations. The problem with Brit armor late game is the puma doesn't have enough fire power to take on anything stronger than a cromwell. I'd have recommended after the first 2-3 puma call-ins to just start spamming Stugs as their superior penetration and firepower are perfect for countering the Croc and Firefly lategame, especially since you had the smoke ability to cover them after they are pushing for an assault. As a side note, you can send a sweeper squad or ostruppen to the bottom portion of the map to harass cap at times, just don't send more than 1 unit when doing so unless top and middle is completely secure.
As for the Brit Infantry, an Ostwind with the Stugs (which can be used as bait for Brit armor) would have been a decent combo, although P4 is alright as well, though not as effective vs Brit inf at times. Your grens also needed lmg upgrades and support weapons close by to help with their assault pushes. Whenever the opponent has MG positions, you can always use the smoke barrage on your mortar to help push those positions with a flamer pio. This also works with Brit trenches, so they can't out DPS you before you reach their position at close range.
In terms of a build order for armor, going Stug first, then either Ostwind or P4 would be preferred vs Brit armor/inf. Make sure to utilize range with the Stug and to avoid or clear any at-gun positions supporting the cromwell(or smoke them out with mortar and attack ground). You can go puma after the first two pieces of armor from t3, but do not make any more unless the enemy has a piece of armor with 20% or lower health and you need armor on the field ASAP. After the puma keep building Stugs and the Brit armor will eventually be overwhelmed, and all you have to worry about is the Brit Inf. If your opponent has firefly and croc, focus firefly first (more dangerous vs armor), take it out, fall back, repair, and then go for the croc. If he only has croc supported by at-guns, take out at-guns, push croc from distance with stugs once at-guns cleared.
As a side note: Lay a teller or two on the top or middle part of the map your defending as it can prove useful later on if opponent overextends or has no sweepers in the area, and your Stugs can clean up the damaged armor.
thx for all the information vonivan! i really apreciate that i wil try to do most of things you recommended to me. although i love mines, i knew i didn't place many to my own iritation xD but apart from that, everything you say is something i should work on. especially going puma was a big mistake i think, sadly. i mostly don't really use the ostwind but i wil do that more now. i like to go save and instantly go p4 but that might be a mistake. also just keeping 2 sides is something i probably should start working on. idk really. i have lots of things to work on i guess haha. thx for your time vonivan. i wont take more . i really appreciate that you did this for me. i'll see you in your stream

Watched it live on Rens channel and you're correct, you were the better player and the croc was clutch.
haha thx wuff! that's nice to hear! especially from you. |
Not bad I guess? You are rank 214 and he is rank 35.
Seems like you gave him a good challenge (did not watched the replay)
haha, yea. i mostly fight guys like him tho :/ . it's just that he's a bit diferent cause i know him from twitch. but yea if you would've watched you would see i was being the better player until the croc came up... |
after a almost winning the game, the croc shows it's full pontentiol and saves the day for lazy o ren. i was a bit dissapointed that it had to end like this. whatever. i hope they will release the patch asap. |
calliope agianst the ostwind + rakten + 'troops?' spam. hf

I wish to see a video or replay of you reacting in 0.25 seconds to a mando coming out of a house/cloak and throwing a grenade at your squad.
Not possible.
a. Blaming the victim
b. Good luck on semoisky/kholodny/any other garrison infested map
c. Camo very much matters because it makes the commando's even worse, since you can't even burn down all the garrisons to be safe from them...
+1
sorry jea for jet whatever your name is. Kappa it's kinda bs what you're saying. 'blabla not putting your mg next to a building.....' Kappa no offence. i expect something more reasonable to come out of your mouth Kappa

At least in 1vs1.
And I don't mean no incentive to build it second and skip the Mechanized Regiment HQ (no one worth a damn will let you build it second and survive). I mean no incentive to build it at all.
Pumas seem capable of taking out any tanks enemies field, and spamming them is just so easy, especially with the on-demand smoke they have to survive anything.
Meanwhile, building the Schwerer Panzer HQ itself consumes a crapton of fuel, and you then need to gather another crapton of fuel to build a Panther or even a Panzer IV (the latter doesn't seem to make any sense given the availability of Pumas).
So it essentially comes down to either Puma spam or losing. There just doesn't seem to ever be a proper time to build the Schwerer HQ when you could just build another Puma.
That seem lame to anyone else?
dude why would you even spam pumas? wtf. like get one armored tank up or an at gun anything who is anti-tank and it's countered... i really don't get you LUL. either it's you not knowing how to counter tanks or... idk even. |
dude you have to be a fucking idiot to not understand why a stug doesn't kill inf and why a t34 does. storm elite go play some other game. |
The entire Ostheer faction makes no bloody sense.
Bunch of tanks that either don't damage infantry at all (a StuG with a mounted MG can stand right in front of an infantry unit for half a minute and not take out a single model) or very little, thus needing to be supported by infantry at all times, and...
...bunch of infantry that is drastically less durable than any other faction in the game both on a per-squad and a per-model basis, thus unable to reliably support armor, especially in the mid-late game.
The Panther is just one of the many absurd symptoms of this, alongside the unarmored armored car, the impossible munitions expenses (either upgrade Grenadiers/Pioneers with weapons to have any chance in direct firefights against other factions' basic unupgraded infantry, let alone upgraded, or use grenades/mines, but not both), and the instawipes (now seemingly more or less fixed via the model spacing adjustment). |
