I took the question to be which factions are strongest in the hands of a highly competent player. why should you crakkle your finger with ost, when you can go brits and doesnt even need micro to defence a postion? the units do it well alone? why should you abuse your micro with stugs in a map when you could go 2 fireflys and smosh all armor with no skill? why should try to fight a defence postion from ost, when your IS squad can throw a arty flare from 45range? and sit back and look that your enemy retreat or will be blast into nivrana In: COH2 Gameplay

Ost elite infantry are force multipliers, NOT gren replacements. - guards are in the most useable commander - pgrens needs 120 muni ... in new i think 100muni to fight armor...and gets from now useless vs infantery - profile isnt a physical law...mods can change them. why cant pgrens be effective vs both targets like penals and guards? they cost the same OR EVEN MORE! - lel. penals are avery good long range unit...even on the move. and your mainline infanetry can sprint! use it! - you underestimated the dmg from guards vs armor ...pgrens misses a lot...and hell they misses a lot more on far targets. AT: Pak40 and Grens with fausts. - far more efficient. PGrens are a manpower sink for people that want to trendy or dare to be different. The solution would be to make it so they have a defined role past just being a jack of all trades master of none. Or make them much more powerful but at a greater cost. A rework could be: PGrens cost 400 manpower, are deployed with 2 kar90 2x stg, and traditional stick grenades. Have one of two upgrade choices both for 80 muni or 40 muni if vet1: AT upgrade One panzerschreck, anti tank grenade (only stuns), teller mine ability. or AI upgrade 1 x MG34, bundle nade, and booby trap ability. Stormtroopers have the same problem as PGrens. In fact a lot of the problems in this game have stemmed from ill defined elite infantry, and balance being tied to poor design. Extensive reworks are probably necessary. I consider penal batallions as a product of an extensive rework, where they now have well defined roles, although Strafniki are meant to die not be elite Why not making them effectivly vs armor and AI like Penals with PTRS or Guards with upgrade are...? Guards can shred infantery (even obers) while will fight effectivly armor after that/ next fight. pgren are good unupgraded vs AI...but no dmg vs armor when upgraded good vs armor....but low dmg vs Infantery and a mapower sink. why no both like penals and guards? make them a 5 or 6model squad and give stats that they can fight both targets In: COH2 Balance

Gosh darn it relic how many times do we have to tell you! If it's on WFA it's supposed to be unconditionally better momatter what the EFA combines! i would invest everytime this low cost to have a snoot constant wiping machine...if i had the possibilty as okw. but no...i get slow unit with a slow burning abilty. i can constant wipe unit with ppsh and sprint...but with flamenade? your enemy must be afk or sleep or bad. but with ppsh you can even wipe units from good players easy In: COH2 Balance

Molotov isn't bad now but anyone saying it's not worse than the lava nade is delusional. you also forget that the molos are on a squad with sprint as standard abilty. This means you can flank much easiy houses or teamweopons and throw it. much easier with sprint....than without. and combine this with ppsh and u can count on a wipe. In: COH2 Balance

The guy literally does a little dance to warn you he's throwing a molly. The range is shorter too. The volk flame grenade is still faster even with the timer. not really.it is mostly the same time to deal dmg. test it yourself. In: COH2 Balance
