USF is just really weak early currently in 2vs2.
Even with the tech revamp to get that officer sooner you are at the mercy of OKW, unless they make a mistake you can capitalize on, as their infantry can hold their own against yours which should be your biggest strength. Best advice I can give you is go Mechanized for the transports, to try to make him bleed too and hopefully get wipes, you'll need to get them or OKW will eventually have enough MP for 2 MGs and 2 Raketens and then you'll be toast.
Jaegers just make it easier for them to keep seal clubbing you, it's fairly easy for them to deny you even the points outside your base, once again Mechanized is your best hope vs OKW Cheese.

It's not fun for everyone, but Sturmies aren't an issue, Volks punching above their weight are.
Double Sturms starts fall flat on their face quite easily, proving they are just strong in the very early game, once you get even numbers they can't do much but bleed manpower. |

The most fun USF Commander just got better.
I've been having success using 2 CavRifles and 2 Riflemen, often replaced by officers that vet easier later on, with 4 BARs.
Upgunned Sherman can fight just about anything if it can get the first hit in, or has some semblance of support, eating a sticky satchel then being chased by one of them is certain dead for the most dreaded Panzer of all for the USF.
