So having started to play COH2 around Feb this year I pretty much found OKW in the state it is now. Watching some preview vids from before WFA was released, they used to have some interesting gimmicks like getting only 66% fuel or something like that.
Why was the faction reworked to receive full resources and the fuel cost of tanks increased? |
I don't know why people refuse the understand that the Tiger is just a call-in alternative to the Panther, with a couple of differences, like better AI. If you don't want to tech to Panthers, get the right doc and save for a Tiger. In real life the Panther outclassed the Tiger and was a much more versatile tank. |

The 222 is horrible. It's bigger than all the light tanks and is too cost effective. Turn it back into a light scout car with great mobility and sight and get the Hotchkiss into a few doctrines that have naff abilities.

I prefer classic hotkeys, but why oh why is the vehicle reverse on 'U'? Since vehicles don't have retreat and reverse is basically their version of retreat, why not just have it on 'T'? |

Interestingly, OP is talking about OKW, you mentioned USF and UKF, and so we've got all non-EFA factions covered. Which is exactly the point he is making, and I've also made in a separate thread. The vanilla factions are powercreeped in terms of available "toys". |

I am making the JT a mobile 88mm gun, that is in line with its cost. You would pick it if your opponent has invested heavily in assault guns of any kind, or there are multiple fireflies. Currently it operates like a long range tank, which is completely absurd because it hard counters anything with wheels, and can still reliably snipe infantry. If you use it correctly it won't change. You will notice I have not suggested changing a single stat on its vet, gun, accuracy, RoF, etc., only that it require from the player who uses it more forethought, and better micro. Currently it requires little to no care, which is completely in contrast to the effort required to kill it. The upgrade for the engine is especially pointless because now that OKW has munitions you will always have the resources to make it faster. It is not a choice so much as a bit of annoying micro you have to do when you call-in the unit.
The JT is currently sluggish (even with the engine upgrade), has no turret and is easily flankable. It compensates this with long range and a punchy gun. If you nerf both the mobility considerably and make the gun worse there is no need to ever pick it over the KT. You make it completely obsolete. It's not OP now anyway. |
