Thread: Relic; It's Time We Had That Talk17 Jul 2013, 01:30 AM I have said plenty of times how disappointed I am with this game. As someone who does not care for single player RTS (sorry I find them boring) it is hard to ignore all the MP features missing. On top of that I search for 1v1's and it says only 10-20 people are searching.... for a game roughly a month old! Loved vCOH... playing SC2 at the same time with the awesome matchmaking, ladders, replay system, custom games, chat and clan support, friends list that actually tells you what your friends are doing in game etc etc. Makes me sad COH2 doesn't have these features. He doesn't want his money back. He wants the game to freaking work. And even if the thread title were serious and not an attention grabbing gimmic meant to draw you into the thread (which it is, and btw also successfully got you to open the thread) he'd be asking for his money not because the game isn't to his taste, but because it's a facsimile of what it should be considering its being sold and advertised as a SEQUEL to COH 1 and yet doesn't have MANY of the features that came standard in that game such as ranked ladders, chat room, custom games, and random faction choice. On top of that he makes the point that the game doesn't even work properly in that p2p is flawed and constantly misses connections or arranges games with laggy results and the graphics slow and performance hitches. The same can be said for GR and the official forums. The only forums really bombarded with topics are the Steam ones, which can only be taken lightly because I must say MOST, but not all, of the people on the Steam forums have very little idea about anything to do with the basics of the game tbh. This makes me worry a bit too as there just doesn't seem to be the interest in the game I was hoping for from the community. The balance patch may make or break this game so maybe it is better they take a little more time, but not too long please. partly due to the lackluster release. Game lacks polish. So many features missing. While I enjoy the game it is definitely not the awesome RTS I was hoping for. I just can't see Relic improving the game before the MP scene dies out. In: COH2 Balance
