I'm not able to detect mines, think it's fine and roll a tank over it and explode. I thought maybe I wasn't looking but I was standing ontop of a minefield that was freshly laid and I could not see it... I was using brit sweepers. In: COH2 Bugs
Thread: Relic's Tendencies6 Mar 2016, 18:29 PM Calliope was crazy effective, it was essentially a panzerwerfer that was firing 3 barrages in a row in that tightly packed area. Why did they remove the crew? you tell me, look at how many games people were jumping out of the calliope to get 3-5 of them out just for shits and giggles. You can do this exploit as USF without any downside. These things made you feel shitty as axis, they'd rape your infantry, then mass LMG blobs would rape your infantry. Spamming tanks was the only way to try and beat it, but that often didn't work because you were so far behind from the damn calliope one shotting infantry EVERY barrage. It's no secret why every USF player was picking this doctrine. When EVERY USF player stops using their doctrines and only picks one.. it's a problem. It was obviously overpowered. In: COH2 Balance

Which will be better? I have the 960 GTX 4gb and I run Coh2 pretty smooth once I disabled AA in game and told nvidia to do it for me. I get around 40-60 FPS when settings are maxed. It's been pretty smooth since the AA change. I also am running with 16GB of DDR3 ram and a i5 3750k @3.6 ghz. I run Coh2 on a 500GB Samsung SSD In 1v1 it's a steady 60fps, but other game modes it jumps around when a lot of artillery hits. Like Artillery Cover. In: Hardware and Tech

What is everyone going buck wild about>? The vet bug is an incredibly large one. Currently no unit in Coh2 gains any benefit from passive veterancy bonuses. This changes how a lot of units perform and feel, Obers for example wipe the floor with USF currently because usually by the time Obers appear the yare vet3 w/ -33% received accuracy.. but not today! Throwing higher poly models into a game already having optimization issues will be hilarious... Because that british tank looks like its way higher, the fact you can't count the polygons on the barrel of that Comet/Cromwel and its SO small on screen. A good 80% of a models detail often gets hidden in texture maps/normal maps. Untextured this is probably fairly accurate of what relic uses lol. In: Lobby
