there is something wrong in the AA capability of this unit? A lot of time it can't take down any kind of german planes, recon included, M5 shoot the sky for minutes with no results. I don't know how to counter the german air support spam. |
The only op thing of arty cover is the duration , imho like others offmap you can dodge it going out of area. That ability force a retrat, like air supremacy. The problem is the duration of arty cover, we are talking about one minute? Is too much, if you fail the tank push, enemy must retrat anyway, lowering down the time of arty cover force you to be fast on your push and if you fail, the enemy will come back a lot faster. |
This ability is op in team games, with muni caches is too much spammable. Only 160 without smoke, a team game (2v2 games too) is supposed to be full of noise, mortars, rocket arty, tanks, ecc. The real problem is that if you are not with your screen near the point of dive bomb you hear the noise too late, so for 160 muni, still if you are a good player, you can easily miss the noise and lose all Your infantry or support guns. Defintely need to add the smoke like every offmap abilty. You can dodge, 3 or 4 times this bomb, but with okw flare is to hard to hear in time if you are microing other units; cause you can't hear the recon and try to prevent spreading Your units. |
Penals don´t get any survablity bonuses like riflemen. Riflemen were too dorable with flamers. Penals are as dorable as 6 man enginner squad.
Also ppsh are best on the move, rifles at long range and flamer at medium while standing, so you get jack of all trades squad that fail its job at anything except at clearing garrisons. Its not like rifles with flamer and bar.
BTW also sturmpioneers with 3 STGs and beter recieved acc can get flamer and no one is crying about.
Also 5 men enginners can get flamer and BREN, no one is crying about. They are also full close range squad apart from current penals

The problem is only the flamer on penals, ptrs could be ok. Why not remove that flamer on mainline infantry and downgrade cost like a rifleman? Your anti infantry early will be a not upgraded penals, and at ptrs penals like the mod. 280 mp is ok cause you have no way to clear garrisons without flamer on eng or snipers. Giving ppsh will not nerf so much the power of flamer upgraded penals squad. If you want something new and remove penals, change with the ppsh guards like the commanders call in. |

The biggest bug I've run into so far is the texture problem on USF weapon teams. You have no idea what the heck is shooting at you.

I like the majority of new 2v2 maps, classic houses meta on fuel and cut off. At least 2/3 maps on 4 will not be vetoed. I still have not tried automatch games, there are really so many bugs after this patch? |
Jesus. Just make penals similar to riflemen. Just decrease thier fucking vet, give them dp and make them cost 280. Done.
Agree, keep them like high AI squad , and decrease the cost removing flamer and ptrs. This will not make penals blob so deadly on retreat but more spammable and rewarding on early. |
