Again they are already very cost-efficient to justify building them. Yes, their dps is not excellent, but their whole point being a meat shield with fausts for support weapons. And it's not like the are trading with a deficit against other mainline like grens do. Have you tried them in the preview? Because they are not worth a ability slot. Osttruppen are not available only in 2 doctrines, they also come as reserves and from relief infatry. Yes and thus moving them from CP 1 to CP 0 would be a minor buff that would make getting early osttruppen squad worth while, so I am not sure why you objecting to it. In: COH2 Balance

It's not really a good defence. Some offmaps are able to be targeted just outside of the blocked LOS and still kill the artillery piece anyway, so honestly smoke isnt much of a defence for the artillery piece. Exactly my point, allowing howitzers to pop smoke will not protect them from off maps. In: COH2 Balance

I can't believe that the guy with 10564 post posted this. The delay had a clear intent to slow down very prevalent in 1v1 osttruppen strat without hard nerfing them. They are already cost efficient as is. Ostruppen are nerfed too hard and are no longer relevant. Building osttruppen give no speed benefit other than 40 manpower per squad time than in early game has very little impact and there is very little reason to use them. If you are being serous try to be more specific with what in your opinion is wrong with suggestion: The reduced to build? The sandbags? or Molotovs? In: COH2 Balance

Imo it does it proves this argument to be false, since SU-76 is an assault gun. The reason zis even has barrage a barrage has nothing to do with brumbar. It comes from the original Soviet designed that wanted some of the stock soviet units to be "jack of all trades and master of none" The problem started to appear when some of these units become good at their role while keeping their extra utility. In the case of zis one can start but increasing the CD of barrage and either moving to Vet 1 or removing the mini map info from tracking since the combination of barrage and "map hack" should not be available. Great comparison. Try to get your fact straight, I have simply pointed out that the claim that the Soviet do not have an assault gun is factually false, I have not mention brumbar in anyway. I did not compare the Brumbar with SU-76, you have, but your claim that is also false. Both units have auto-fire and barrage, their auto-fire serve different roles (AI/AT) and the barrage is vet 1 for brumbar. Their timing cost and tech cost are also completely different so I am not sure what you want to compare. In: COH2 Balance
