AEC mobile.
Do you even play it (I'm not wanting to be arrogant, but really asking, do you play with it ?) It is TERRIBLE in terms of mobility man..
Even with that "terrible mobility" it has a ability to kill Stug, PzIV (<- not so easy), Ostwind (<-don't even have change). Once killed even a damaged retreating panther with the thing. Has better survivability to kite an survive shreks than scout car zooks. |

I use it to heal sniper so I dont need to retreat with him after he get few shots
DOH! Why haven't i tought of that. stupid me... |
Could someone explain how stunnading retreating units is different and a bug and killing retreating units with mines, democharges, boobytraps incbombardment and even chasing them with tanks is OK?
I hardy cannot see any difference other than enemy been better player than me when they pull those stunts out, skill play.
Btw Its nearly as annoying as blocking retreating units with kubel or rifleman blob to wipe them. |
My feeling is that disvantages of Vickers are bigger than its advantages.....in my opinion 90% of players would choose a HMG that suppresses any and all squads entering in his cone of fire as MG42 does.
Yeah those bonuses when garrisoned are great, but again, I think 90% of players would give those bonuses if they receive more suppresion to squads in its cone of fire.
When do you buy a HMG???? most of the time, when you want to deny some map area to the enemy or when you want to counter blobs.....in this case, properties of MG42 are the best ones.
just my noob opinion.
Never ever trusted MG42 AoE suppression, usually manually shooting every squad at a time with it to keep them suppressed. I do the same thing with Vickers. When used microed like this the Vickers is by Far better as long as target is not in green cover you know always that small burst with vickers will suppress with delay it but on MG42 you need to shoot until the squad is in suppression. You can click trough squads a lot faster with vicker because it doesn't stop to reload so fast and it doesnt shoot so long bursts. --> IF you can micro Vickers is a lot better. Without any micro MG42 is better. |
Yes, you usually place your team weapons in the open without cover in front of your opponent tanks.
Yes Because allies cannot break throw superior Axis front line i need to give gifts when playing axis. |
Same environment but vs IS and Grens.
Centaur: 12s/52s/36s
Ostwind: 20s/67s/44s
Of course it's just "more or less" casue it all depends on map, where are you shooting, cover, terrain etc.
Dear god weapon team down before it can escape when Centaur shoots it. |
No? 2 is more than sufficient if you micro.
If that Mg42 owner has a half of a brain placing and microing MG42 not a single chance. It needs a third window switch to get near enough to take out the mg. It can keep those 2 sides down until Grens/pios come to mop that squad away. |
If you launch a stun nade on an enemy unit, this one, while being stunned, is locked to the ground and you are not able to retreat as long as the stun effect lasts.
If you launch this nade on a retreating squad it stop the retreat and happens the same thing.
Not sure but i think it makes them drop the weapon down, it a stun nade i should stun targets, NOT to wipe MG that is leaving town. A much fairer type of weapon than S-mining retreat paths and flame barraging retreat point. |
Hi,
Three times today I've seen the panzerfaust from grenadiers just hit the ground between them and the vehicle, for no apparent reason, even at very close range. I'm guessing this is a recently added bug, presumably related to the height of the projectile.
Anyone else come across it?
Been there as long as i've played COh2. --> German technology so bad that faust has a ballistic trajectory. Good russian tech has AT nades that follow you throw the map. |
