Thread: WBP Merged changelog (v1.0 to newest)22 Feb 2017, 14:24 PM Interesting. I never came across that problem in my countless games. This is mostly due to limiting UKF limiting themselves to a specific (shitty) commander, and that UKF still have to pay for these drops. SOV will have to get shitty conscripts to make that work. All of that is just a receipt for failure for a small advantage. I have never seen that in any WBP replays or tournament matches. That tactic is like shooting in your own leg in hopes your teammate wins the game. Or are there any replays?? In: COH2 Gameplay

They were not buffed, and not nerfed. They work great now, and feel less threatening against top100 players in WBP late game. Great redesign. That imo is buff to UKF and imo UKF do not need a buff until they are fixed. Good players in live are able to use Piats to counter even faster moving vehicles using ground attack. Nobody used the PIATs in the KOTH tournament. Your own logic could be applied to suggest that they underperform in WBP due to their lack of use in the tournament. I think KOTH will give a cleaner idea about balance with the next round that uses the modified rule set. The previous rule-set promoted British type turtling gameplay. In: COH2 Gameplay

This also highlights that Ostheer tech is both linear and has to practically unlock everything while gaining to little for doing so. OKW FRP was included because the USF Major provides the same. UKF Forward Assembly (250MP) was not included because it act as Ostheer reinforcement bunker+USF weapon racks+Artillery call-in+Garrison for emplacement and needs to be upgrade to FRP (200MP), and in my opinion would confuse things. As pointed out by myself and others, it is pointless to consider the total cost of tech paths if at the very end the units are useless. In addition, as Mr.Smith underlines, it is very easy otherwise to provide non-objective data (e.g. total tech costs vs viable tech costs) to force a biased perspective on the balance of both sides. One techs to obtain units and combat advantages, and not to merely complete a tech tree. Otherwise, you could easily say that a KT costs over 500 fuel, and thus should behave like 500 fuel unit.
