Thread: Swap Puma with 251/1711 Jul 2016, 18:43 PM Why don't just swap Pz.II. and AA HT? Having 2 AI units and a rocket arillery in a building is a dead tech. Unless you will micro and take care of those poor raketens. For me Having the Luchs in the Battlegroup instead of AA HT is a better choice since if you go mech hq you'll still get AI and AT units + repair, but BGHQ wouldn't mean insta death in 1s for OKW as it would give you healing + AI capabilities + limited AT. You can pretty much chop off half health of a T-70/Stuart if it comes into close range for faust + few pen from luchs. And a raketen won't hurt. In: COH2 Gameplay

The bomb is meant to be air force disruptive attack (luftwaffe) or instant deploy mines (defensive). Conversely, Pumas can actually flank and chase stuff down. StuG can't really do that. And as far as I know even that it's not turning very fast the Puma still has a turret. You can't say the same about StuGs or SU-76s. Yes it has much worse armor but it makes it up with non-doc smoke, speed etc. I'm much more a fan of agile vehicles than the best armored tanks In: Lobby

And I'm totally happy with it. OKW supposed to be good only with combined arms. 2 type of units for early game is not really combined for me. Now the players will have to use real combined arms. I think a Volks faust + Sturmpio schreck + raketen/Puma is going to be really nice. However I read that they're going to lower engine damage to achieve the critical under 5%. USF is in also need of Crocodile Sherman, jeep, 30 cal, 105mm m1 howitzer, recoilless rifle. Also the return of Panzer Elite with Hotchkiss, Hummel, flak36, Marder, Bergetiger, vampire HT, hetzer, jagdpanther... Heck, there are more, enough for a new faction to fit in. Too bad all of these will forever a dream as Relic ditch CoH2 in favor of DoW3. I know that it would need a bit of an effort, but last night I was complaining to a friend that OKW is getting the leFH arty (the same as ost). They could've given them a Hummel/Grille/Wespe for that role. This way OKW would feel a bit unique imho. In: COH2 Gameplay
