Thread: OKW Free Flares on new commander??4 Dec 2015, 20:30 PM Jump back to quoted post4 Dec 2015, 15:04 PM_GarbageMan_ I don't understand why OKW get's a free passive flare ability with it's commander. To me is absurdly unbalanced. You don't even have to click on the points to add the flares and it doesn't cost anything. MEANWHILE Russia has to sacrifice vet, munitions, time, and micro to set up their trip wire flares (yeh it kills one unit, but that's nothing). Also it takes forever to set up. All other commanders USF, Russia, UKF, even other axis and factions have to use munitions and micro for doctrine & non-doctrine flares. I don't understand why there isn't more talk about this. Seriously a free passive flare ability on ALL captured flags?? You can't expect to have a mine sweeper on every flag either to negate it. Makes no sense in regards to balance. I don't understand why don't you use mine detectors. Did you know that is a counter? How about play the game and git gud that's the only way. +1 Stop crying pls and l2p In: COH2 Balance

It's not a living creature. Russian Demos don't self spot, along with any other mines in the game. It makes no sense from a balance perspective either (taking realism out of the picture). What about buildings they can spot too... or victory, munitions, fuel point, caches? Trip wire flares? Also, mobile demo that can move while camo and self spot, doesn't require any supporting unit to place and costs just 10 more then normal static non self spotting demo? Yeah, that sounds like a good balance idea. WW2 germany had some neat technologies, but GO Pro with life time streaming was not one of them. Can move while camo only if moves in cover.* 0 armor low hp. Easy countered by a 30 ammo upgrade, commander/infantry ability or special at troops. Can be attacked/destroyed by anything if spotted. It was released less than a day ago and you do this. It was tested by relic internally and then with balance test preview. Please play the game or ask some other players later for tactics. It just not fair that they got as much ressources as others and they get even more by salvage and they can destroy easily weapons... Salvage is very situational takes time, gives little and okw got no caches. Pro tip: if you destroy wrecks(including destroyed weapons(yes you can destroy weapons)) there is nothing to salvage. ed1. There is only two OKW units which can semi-reliably reach high vet levels which actually give them huge influence over the game (STG obers and jp4), meanwhile most vet5 units is far worse than allied vet3 and lose to them in every circumstances imaginable. Not to mention how much xp/time is required to reach vet 5. In: COH2 Balance
