Sepha is an awesome player and always seem to be one of the top dogs in any given tournament. Devm on the other, when he wants it and when he plays well, he's amazing. I said they cleaned half of the threads to a point were you couldnt even understand what the thread was about anymore. Unless its like ridiculously offensive or a few other,selext situation we should be able to write what we want. I could agree to that, never really liked the concept of cleaning threads. Usually though the cleaned posts are incredibly off topic (personal bickering often) or it is cheat accusations or other things that break against the rules. Exactly what those mods did. I thought you meant nazi moderation as in a hyperbole for strict moderation. If you are really drawing that comparison you are terribly misinformed or have a axe to grind. What people whos opinions are not liked gets moderated? As I see it, they babysit trolls a bit too much were I would like them to get suspended or banned. Also if your comparison is as bold as you wrote it: Gestapo arrested people on rumors and accusations and held office in concentration camps. GR mods are guys who warn and invis off topic and irrelevant/flaming discussion. Even if you just compare how they go about it, it is still differentiating. In: Site Feedback

I dislike Starcraft strongly, but I think they have good enough casters and personalities to make the scene and community very interesting. Liked this article a lot, I think many want to strengthen their favorite games presence and community, but feel that they themselves cant give or help a lot. This might be a good thing in encouraging people to do what they believe they can do but never really had the confidence to do within gaming! It also provided a lot of information and was an all around interesting read, I'm glad you look towards the fighting communities, they are an example of what a niche genre and community can create if you put enough work into it. Been on GR for over a year and it have been a great site to feed my RTS interests, and I think this site has a lot of potential. In the end though, you don't have to choose. Checking a site takes like 3-5 minutes and I'll stay on both site as long as both interest me. No need to go all out fan-boy for either side(site) ^^ In: Site Feedback
Thread: NTD Camera work2 Jan 2013, 03:30 AM It's almost unfair how cool voices Sarge and Yoink got. Ami is great too, gives almost a "childish" excitement to the series and just makes the atmosphere feel electric. It's hard to point at a specific thing in SNF, but it's working so damn smoothly and I think the props for that have to go to NTD. While all the commentators are great in their way, having NTD as cameraman makes the visuals a bit better and more focused, and at the same time the cuts to break and such makes the whole of SNF feel extremely professional. Thread: Intelligence Bulletins27 Dec 2012, 23:45 PM I think there is a difference between if you made a conscious move to do something, and the outcome was affected by luck, as opposed to making a conscious move and having the outcome depend on luck. If I place a mine and run over it and happen to get ambushed that was lucky of him (because he didn't know about the mine) but if I place a artillery barrage perfectly infront of a blob and they still charge through with all the shots going wild, then I've done all that is possible within the realm of the game to make that artillery hit, but I still miss because luck said nope. Most luck can be negated by proper planning, but some luck in this game (mostly crits and artillery) still play a bit too big of a role to make the game feel competitive. Though I cant stress enough, luck and chance is something that makes CoH incredibly exciting. I utterly HATE games were you can measure everything and easily calculate how something will end. (Prime reason Blizzard games doesn't click with me) In: Lobby
