85 munition cost for sturm schreck upgrade...maybe integrate the minesweeper into the package please? It is just too much compare to bazooka and piats. |
OKW blob spam is going to better than ever.
Now the main AI infantry has an upgrade to be even better against infantry, the shreks go on the squads that can already defend themselves well, it's all supported by fausts (can't escape the shreks!) and the raketten has more arc.
Calling it now: All this gets reverted, and we go back to volk spam. Only way to fix this is by having a separate squad in T1 that's 3man with 2 shreks.
Seriously though, this looks pretty good. Still waiting on Royal Engie reduced cost vet and Rifle double upgrade (or Vet 3) changes.
3 man with 2 schreck is way too squishy vs allies superior indirect fire and late game squad-wipe tanks, the only advantage I can see is that it can give a good chance for dropping schrecks for volks and sturms to pick when got wiped lol. |
They are already causing suppression to the infantry that stepped on the mine, however from my testing the amount of the suppression is just too small...sometime it doesn't trigger the infantry to be suppressed at all, even it does, the infantry can get up in a very minimal delay like 1 sec.
Maybe increase the inflicting suppression and it would be fine, at least delay the infantry that triggered the mine for like 3-4 sec, maybe even pin the squad while stepped.
additional to that I personally would like to see the cost is tuned down to 25 munition, as it no longer wipe the squad at alpha and no longer causing engine destroyed, also promoting more use of the mine. |
There should be a more obvious button on the main menu that letting players, especially those who don't particularly in the official forum or coh2 community, to know that there is such preview mode.
and maybe a more dedicated and official review drop box on somewhere.

I am guessing that the scenario of fausts 2 shots your light armor, could only happen when you are charging a non-upgraded M20 into the Ostheer defense, hoping to kill the mg but got rekted by escorting grenadiers...
Fausts are fine, just use the light vehicle cautiously, actually, always play cautiously. |
They seem to come around the time I hit tier 2, and at this stage in the game wehr doesn't seem to have anything that can capitalize on the fact that the enemy spent his resources on the emplacement. At least OKW can get a field gun or a luchs to punish the enemy. Meanwhile, good luck approaching any points that the enemy holds, because the mortar can fire anywhere on the map. 2 wehr mortars can't seem to kill it before they die themselves and if you unpack, fire, pack and move, by the time you can fire again the brit mortar is already repaired.
How to people deal with this? Flame HT maybe?
Wehr is really poor vs well defended mortar emplacement... as it can be well protected by AT, MG, Infantry sections reserves and maybe bofors, and if it is build in a small map... like angoville where single mortar emplacements can cover two VP and one fuel, sorry maybe because I am not good but I don't think there is really anyway to assault and finish that position in midgame.
What I suggest is do hard push early game, as what I experienced, a early sniper with 3 grens can nail the early game vs brit pretty well. Upgrade into T2 fast and get 222 with panzergrens to further secure your advantages. Then after that I can't really tell as the opponent may using different strats. |

According to the graph the player base was already shrinking to around 9k in end of September 2015, and it is still about the same today. Where do you find the 4k number? dont just draw the low numbers from when it is midnight of working day in America/Europe, that I believe, is where the majority of player base located.

As the topic said, what is the point of this bulletin? The JT is not some sort of MP cheap infantry like ostruppen which indeed need the more frequent call-in. It is a 720 mp 280 fuel unit, I can't imagine who would actually benefit from it other than players who had a tons of resources from good play through a whole game yet throws his JT like rubbish, which is clearly self conflicting.

I was reading about the vetrancy sheet, and it says increases 25% construction speed for SP when it reaches vet3. I was curious then because I never experience such buff on SP in my games before.
So I used the cheatMod to test the building speed of non-vetted and vet3 SP, then I found that VET3 STORMPIONEERS BUILDS 25% SLOWER THAN VET0-2 STORMPIONEERS. Not even remains the same but decreases its construction speed!
I tried to let them to start building mines and wires at the same time, and the vet3-5 always complete the structure slower than the vet0-2, and it doesn't affect by whether they are upgrade with the repair kit or not, or the stormpioneer bulletins.
Is it a bug or it is indented to be like this? Like is it because they equipped with the grenades so they can't build as fast as before? |
