If you run an interview for an hour, then you should eventually draw something out, whether you are an hostile interviewer, or soft.
In this instance, I watched QD for most of the time, as the dialogue progressed. He's not bad at the poker face, and only seemed to let in emotions, temporarily, towards the end. I wished the interviewer had pressed him harder on the transition from THQ to SEGA.I feel,as most probably do,that Relic were rushed into an early release - but QD was artful enough to say that he was grateful for the 3 month breathing space, without divulging exactly what they had managed to fit in as a result of that breather. Or, to the matter in the obverse, what would have come out without the extra time. Given that it took another 5/6 months to attain the first real patch which rewarded micro,I think that was a minus against the interviewer.
Still,19 patches since release....that's what we paid to obtain. Compared to 6 patches with the original over the same time slot.
QD was not pressed on the Russian 'intervention' - diplomatically correct, I guess. But he made it clear that Relic are heeding the fan base.
And I believe him. I think the next release will show Relic going back to their base, albeit Merkins

At least they seem to have discounted the console threat for the time being
As for the future: I guess the interviewer was disconcerted by his partner kissing him on camera - as it seems was QD,when Philippe tried the same with QD.............
