Comets have unnecessarily effective gun versus infantry. Comet need the same gun as Panther. Chosing commader/MG upgrade and if you pick commader upg., replace smoke with HEAT rounds (with MG upgrade, keep smoke). They are not similiar , they are not even in the same league. The Comet tank clearly overperforms in it's role being able to stand up to the Panther and in reality will beat it 50% of the time (considering the panther is supposed to be a premium heavy at ) there is really no reason why this should be happening. On top of all this the Comet also has fantastic anti-infantry power that the Panther lacks as well as insane speed and for an only slightly increased cost. The Comet simply has no weakness and no unit in the game should be able to claim this. In: COH2 Balance

But if you want my point of view, even in team games, the okw flak is easy to destroy because only sturm can repair it and are very weak while doing that. a single 120 mm mortar can get rid of a flak HT, and if you get countered by leifh then you can reinforce your squad with cons/m3 halftrack. Says who? If the game is balanced for 1vs1 then it's balanced for 2vs2 , 3vs3 and 4vs4 . If something is extremely over performing like British emplacements then they will always be over performing regardless. If it was balanced for 2vs1 or 3vs2 then yes that is understandable but we are increasing number of players with a 1/1 ratio. On another note if the OP is happy to swap a Boffors for a paper unit with far worse damage and virtually no survivabilty please be my guest and give OKW or Wehr a Boffors clone. Then we will see the same OP complaining how broken emplacements are. In: COH2 Gameplay
Thread: Hector´s suggestions on how to fix Brace25 Mar 2017, 13:26 PM Another major issue is how cheap they are, ridiculously cheap actually . Look at the Bofors it costs a measly 280 manpower and 30 fuel! It easily takes care off all roles aside from heavy tanks. It will decimate infantry, ac's , light tanks, medium tanks along with artillery and near instant kill AA. It's not like the emplacement takes any skill whatsoever to use. Once destroyed another one will be hastily built to replace it negating the insane work you have put in into destroying it. As for the mortar I could write a 10 page essay on how broken this emplacement is. 280 manpower and 30 fuel.... what is relic thinking In: COH2 Balance

I came up with the numbers by comparing each individual unit and ability a faction has and compare it to another within an asymmetrical balance framework weighing up the pros and cons. Top List along with strength rating out of /100 1. British: Strength Rating 98% (easily the strongest, overpowered and outright broken of all the other factions) 2. USA: Strength Rating 80% (Powerful and robust with some overpowered units yet not necessarily broken) 3. OKW: Strengh Rating 70% (A fairly strong faction with some useful late game units ) 4 Soviets: Strength Rating 65% (a well rounded faction but does suffer from some overpowered units and abilities such as the field HQ) 5. Wehr: Strength Rating 60% (By far the weakest faction in the game which lacks behind all others) In: COH2 Gameplay

I've always been a proponent of a CoH based on the pacific side, with Japan, US Marines, & Australia. IMO for CoH2, if anything, it'd need to be Italy for the European campaigns. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Italian_Army_equipment_in_World_War_II I would disagree Japan could be made to fit into CoH 2.
