Oh my god I think you did it! I was not able to reproduce the bug at all, and I canceled the barrage on a lot of points during the barrage (beginning, halfway through, end etc)
This is very helpful, now I can finally test some changes!
So I changed the 'use_accessory_weapon' action to an 'artillery_attack' action which has no functional differences as far as I know, but the crew doesn't re-setup the weapon now.
Triggering the ZiS bug accidentally is pretty rare, but if people know how to do it there's a good risk they try to trigger it deliberately in advantageous positions.
the ghost ZiS bug with 0men crew has been fixed IIRC so you cant really abuse it anymore. You wouldnt get any advantage from causing it intentionally
Hello, I decided to make a thread & video about the most common version of the ZiS bug and explain how exactly it gets triggered, so that people can try to avoid it in their games.
At the end of the barrage, the crew steps away from the gun for 0.5 sec as you may have noticed. If you issue an order in that exact moment, the gun bugs out. So make sure you don't spam click when you come close to the 4th shell, try to make sure the animation gets finished completely. Giving orders before the 4th round has been fired is not a problem
by the way: I think I had this issue in the past as well but it always gets fixed for me when I press the Windows-Button, then click once on the Windows search-bar, and then on CoH2 again
And what are even the bonuses compared to a normal Tiger? I think 200 more hitpoints, better veterancy gain, better accuracy (useless vs inf), spearhead & self repair... but thats about it right?
Agree heavy tank OP before,but now?tiger and IS2 and pershing AOE damage even less than medium tank,I think at least it should better than their factions basis medium tank
they have same or lower AoE dmg than mediums cuz their scatter is wayyy lower compared to mediums IIRC
These bugs are not new and super niche, but I will mention it anyway.
If a WC51 jeep dies in the second you call down the artillery, you lose 180mun but nothing happens.
If you call-down paratroops or fallschirmjager and then run out of enough popcap before they jump out of the plane, you just lose the 360/380 manpower but nothing happens (maybe give back a complete manpower refund to the player if it happens, rather than allowing popcap abuse?)
Perimter Overwatch got buffed in the wrong way back when royal arty doc got overhauled. Rather than keeping high cost and adding off-map mortar bombs that constantly land everywhere nonstop, they should have kept it as is (only the base howitzers shoot) but lowered the cost imo.
Or same like Ostheer overwatch artillery (only a few sectors are affected instead of the entire map).
This ability is annoying af in larger teammates too, you can pop it on once you have 3 VPs and then literally go afk and win
Havent watched the game but the days of double OKW are over now where brits fully returned. Dont go double OKW as arranged team then whine afterwards that it got totally exploited. OKW always had its issues vs brits, not just this patch, this faction never could deal with blobbing or section spamming very well
