Totally noob allies gameplay. Decent tank's micro though.
1. Soviet noob didnt use his Il2 strafe ability EVER. Just saving hundreads of ammo for nothing. That cost a win actually in a late game. Idiot.
2. British goes to absolutely useless AEC with 0 micro skill.Car dead in 10 minutes. Fuel and tech wasted. Go to the god damned bofors, at least it will be a usefull defence investement during the whole game. And those Land Matress barrages on a lonely MG-42 units... So pathetic.
Ok about commanders: If it's a map like rails and metal or crossing in the woods (open map, few houses only, flanks are easy to hold), then always go Jaeger Armor doctrine (the one with elefant and spotting scopes)
On any other map, lightning war (the one with JU87 AT loiter, panzer tactician and command p4) is never a wrong choice.
I think both of these docs are part of the starter loadout so you dont have to buy them. You dont need any other commander later
About build orders: it really depends on everything man... the map, the opponent's factions, what your teammate is doing etc.
vs brits for instance you probably want an early mortar and at least 2 HMG42s... vs soviet t1 you want to get more than 1 grenadier etc.
If you are not sure, standard openings like MG42, gren, gren, mortar/sniper are always ok
And your goal as wehr basically is it to hold on long enough until you have a setup that is very hard to counter. Dunno if you are a t3 or more of a t4 player, but t4 has the advantage that it works on all maps. On elefant maps you can basically rush brummbar (t1--> t2-->t4) straight into elefant, and on the other maps you can rush brummbar as well followed by panthers and JU87 loiter assaults.
I have said this countless times: the (only) issue with axis bunkers is the ludicrous sight bonus that comes with the MG42 upgrade. A cheap 0 popcap unit that provides more sight than a vet 2 sniper is simply not ok and the only reason why this strat works in the first place.
If the sight bonus would be gone, everything should be fixed.
How on earth do you wanna play CoH on a XBox controller? It only worked with Halo Wars cuz the strategic depth was a lot more simple and there was way less micro management.
@ Sturm
Leaving always the games, is like teamkilling.
You say, build this and this unit for him, so he will not leave.
Where we are going, when we should always build something for a special player.
If this would be usual, I would have to memorize for countless players, what they want I build for them.
Like Sinister said, he sometimes even quits after 10 seconds, when the soviet player built the "wrong" (in CPU's eyes) tier building.
... yeah or if you dont follow his commands at the start of the match
This guy is known as ragequitter, yes. If the match isnt in his favor from start to end or he has the feeling at least one of his teammates is not good (or not doing what he wants), he instantly leaves. Dunno if it's a bannable offense tho.
