Thread: Commander Update 2021 - Buglist31 Mar 2021, 23:39 PM Messed around with Soviets a bit, don't seem to be able to build the new bunkers? Tried Tank Hunter and Defensive Doctrine but the Combat Engineers never had the button to build it in their UI. Also the Assault Guards thompsons seemed to be missing sound sometimes, but not 100% sure. In: COH2 Bugs

It imo fits pretty good as stacked repairs make it great for keeping armour in the front or keeping big t 34 fleet in 4v4. But i admit some alternative munition spending would be welcome as the fuelplane will keep getting shot down after 13 minute marks in teamgame. Id argue changing kv 8 for something else would be good as doctrine has kv 2 so 8 is pretty unneeded. It should have some weapon upgrade, like the PPSH or the SVTs. The Soviet arms industry was massive, they made like 5 million PPSHs and 1 million SVTs. Would be a good fit. In: Lobby
Thread: Nade cooldowns30 Mar 2021, 10:48 AM I would say it is due to unit roles. Shocks and Commandos are both short range units which use the smoke to close in with little damage. They use shared CDs so that you can't just chain grenade up to an MG for an easy wipe. Units with the blendkorper are generally longer range like Obers and Falls, so they generally don't need the smoke to close in, and can't because they would damage themselves with it. Thats just my interpretation though, old lelic had some questionable balance choices and it could just be an oversight that noone thought to correct. In: COH2 Gameplay

Buff them a little, raise the price and give them a PPSH upgrade and Schreck upgrade. This frees up a slot to add something substantial for late game. Maybe something thematic like a captured German tank. Unlikely though. Tank Hunter Tactics Put the PMD-6M mines into a bundle with Tank traps Replace the ML-20 with the B-4 Soviet Industry Bundle together Crew Repairs and Repair Station (hell maybe throw in conscript repair too, might be unbalanced). Put PPSH or SVT upgrade in the free slot to represent the arms industry Replace rapid conscription in Conscript Support tactics with the Commissar cause this ability sucks unless reworked In: Lobby

Everytime I've used it to kill an LEFH it worked. In: COH2 Balance
Thread: How to Make Howtizers (not SPG) more Viable in Team games ?3 Feb 2021, 14:36 PM A good start would be removing off maps from certain commanders. What would be the logical thing to do when the opponent has a big fat tank you can't approach head on, like the Elefant or ISU? Use artillery to kill supporting units and damage the tank since they have huge hitboxes. You can't do this currently because you just get Stuka'd or IL-2'd. Adding a smoke barrage is a good idea, Pyrotechnic Sections got a smoke barrage so it seems logical for other on maps. Adding a vet ability to the ML-20 would be nice too. In: COH2 Balance

Considering the amount of players I've met who freak out if you don't capture both fuel points by 5 minutes, having only one fuel would push them over the edge.
