I love the design of penals and they have great voice acting, but there really isn't much reason to use them. Only use I can think for them is to throw a satchel at a tank when a guard buttons it. Sometimes you have to adapt and play differently, and if this means putting your trucks in the base if you see a british player with this commander, so be it. Soviets and Ostheer can deal with no forward retreat. There is nothing wrong from having to walk from your base. and vs brits, forward bases aren't "all the advantages OKW has". leIG is really good at shutting down emplacements and pinning squads from long range, not to mention the early game advantage OKW has in the brit matchup. IL-2 bombstrike shits on OKW trucks too, Air Supremacy just shits over a larger area. In: COH2 Balance

Thread: Remove abandonment.21 Sep 2015, 15:38 PM Once my ISU-152 got abandoned and I couldn't actually destroy the damn thing with attack ground because my SU-76 couldn't pen it. more on topic, while RNG can be bullshit, as long as you don't overextend, abandoned vehicles can usually be destroyed or recovered safely by yourself. All it takes is an attack ground by AT gun/panzerschreck or hit it with snare if the enemy gets greedy and rushes for it. In: COH2 Gameplay

The plane call-ins are useful abilities and aren't problematic on their own, but because they can be spammed with the conversion, they are unfair. It needs to be brought inline with the Soviet Lend Lease fuel drop, which has a worse conversion ratio (100mu/30fu compared to 50fu/125mu) and Lend Lease uses a big slow plane which gets shat on by OKW flak and makes it a 100mu gamble if you're not vs pure Ostheer, (not to mention the generally better AA that axis have) whereas CAS is instant conversion, which then can be converted again into air strikes and panzershrecks and LMGs etc etc. In: COH2 Balance
