Let that sink in a 270mp+60mu gets it's ass beaten by 258mp+50mu unit. IDK about being "no longer OP" i'd like to see a bit more consistency. may be we should change the con 7*12>80 ing people. I just did a test in cheat mod and 5 Men Grens won 3/4 at medium-long range at Vet 3. The one they lost was because Cons got a lucky early model kill and swung the engagement. You're welcome to provide evidence to the contrary but I don't really believe that they lose at longer ranges. Both upgrades add an extra model and Grens natively have better long range DPS. The STG also has better long DPS than the G43 as well so I don't see how losing the 10% Racc means they suddenly lose to Cons long range without the LMG42. In: COH2 Gameplay

So maybe build infantry? Maybe some of the new improved Penals with PTRS? Do you mean BP1? If you tech BP2 then you might as well build T3 at that point. Thread: German Infantry Commander adjustments9 Mar 2021, 16:14 PM Any perceived less use of this commander is more likely because people jumped ship after 5 men grens were no longer OP - doesn't mean it needs corresponding buffs. It's still a great commander on the spectrum of options with 250 as a shock unit, elite infantry, and IMO one of the best off maps. Not to mention 5 Men grens still give you extra survivability so you don't have to be on top of retreats as much and the STG is good on maps where you don't need the long range LMG as much. Thread: Buff for wehr tactical movement8 Mar 2021, 21:50 PM I don't know. It's a global sprint for 3X the cost of an individual sprint in Ambush Training. As long as you have 3 squads sprinting the cost is fair enough. I guess you could add some kind of smoke if you want it to be more "tactical" but it's largely fine (if just underused) because it requires some planning to use instead of "click and kill stuff". Might be kind of cool if squads had smoke grenades available to them for the duration of the sprint but that might be confusing for some players... In: COH2 Gameplay
Thread: Zooks for con/penals in Lend Lease 8 Mar 2021, 21:37 PM The OTHER thing that Assault Guards need is their Vet revamped. Probably something similar to Ass Grens or Assault Sections. Currently their high target size means they just get chopped up until Vet 2 (and then low offensive bonuses and can't compete till Vet 3). At the very least trip wire flares should be replaced. In my post in Revamp wish thread I suggested replacing it with the PZ Gren "Combined Arms" buff so that it meshes well with the M5 Call-in (if it stays). Then you can add the Assault Guards as a call-in for other doctrines and they are actually worth getting when combined with other vehicles (KV1 or whatever). Current Vet In: COH2 Gameplay

All other faction have a heavy off map in the commander they are given. Sovs have it in combined arms army, USF has time on target, UKF pretty much always has that and OKW has panzer commander upgrade. Mortar HT Incendiary Rounds would like a word with you. Though I'll admit that adding the bomb to another commander is worth an idea during the commander revamp as an option In: COH2 Balance

Keep in mind that when it bounce Ostheer Fuast does 45 damage and AT grenades does 80 so higher penetration comes at price. Eh it's a price I'd gladly pay. Failing a snare because of no penetration >>>>>>> 35 extra damage when it means the difference between killing a tank or not. 35 Extra deflection damage is much more rarely going to mean the difference between a kill or not. Not to mention that Armored skirts on mediums make it happen more frequently on a game to game basis given the frequency that you see medium tanks versus doctrinal heavies or late game premiums for Brits.
