Thread: EZ8 should have 800hp20 Jul 2015, 13:38 PM Personally I like EZ8s as they are, low health can be a negative if the tank is getting swarmed but I find the ability to bounce Panzerfausts more reliably much more useful than being able to take a few more hits (that would penetrate more often). Besides, I think Lower Health + Higher Armor works better with US tank crews that can more quickly top off the Tank's health and get it back in the fight. In: COH2 Balance

Thread: Remove demo charges19 Jul 2015, 22:06 PM I don't know, I think they are fine albeit rage inducing at times. I think a little under 100 Mu (90?) is a fair exchange to wipe a single capping squad at the least or more if your opponent is being a bit blobby. For their cost they are hard to spam without giving up Mines, Quad Upgrades, DPs, Etc. FYI you don't have to use a Pioneer to defuse a demo charge. A while back they changed it so that once you detect the charge you can just target it and then shoot it to detonate it safely (or when your opponent's squads are near if you want to be cheeky) In: COH2 Balance

You should check out some of "Jacksons are OP" threads on here. Anyway, 3-4 bounced shots in a row is bad RNG but any higher Pen % and it would be unbalanced for it's cost. 1v1 Jackson vs. Panther isn't really the measure you want to use; you NEVER want a Jackson exchanging fire with a Panther. They are a glass cannon that should fire at max range while screened with infantry/ meatshield tanks and should not be used as if they are tanks. In: COH2 Balance

The buffed Maxim is much better than its (admittedly terrible) current form and is in a good place. It suppresses single squads fast and its fast set-up times allows you to pivot it quickly to suppress flanking squads. If multiple squads of Grens are holding hands it should also suppress them with the new incremental accuracy buff. You won't be able to plop it down and forget it and then expect it to insta-pin multiple squads; that's not its role. It's more "offensive" in the "move forward with Cons and suppress what's most dangerous" sense. The USF 50 Cal is okay in my opinion; the recent long-range damage buff makes is more usable than it had been. It's a nice middle ground between Maxim and MG42 IMO, BUT I do think that 280 is a bit overpriced given it's current performance AND the fact that it's locked behind Lt. In: COH2 Balance
Thread: Trouble fighting against rifle company17 Jul 2015, 14:45 PM +1 on Sniper Well microed OST sniper is the bane of USF as the MP bleed really eats at you over time. Just make sure to screen him if they go Lt. because the USF will likely get a M20 to try and hunt him down. In: Ostheer Strategies

If you're getting steamrolled it can force the other player to hold up and give you time to recover or if you're attacking force them to reposition MGs/PAKs because they think they are about to get shelled. That being said fixing the actual Arty would be nice. Just fixing the Max/Min values probably won't be enough. I wouldn't mind something cheaper that reflects it's actual performance that you can use to clear a building or what have you. In: COH2 Gameplay
