Seriously latch, your drastically over exaggerating plus, its more dangerous for the enemy to capture ur support weps then to lose it to salvage. Your only mad because its something OKW has. If your issue it support weps being deleted then u'd be calling for nerfs for tanks too for shooting and destroying support weps.
How am I over exaggerating? It removes a 320MP unit from the game for free and its guaranteed, like I have shown with the AT gun video for any other faction to do such a thing, it takes a lot of RNG and even more risk.
When someone that is very high rank with all factions agrees with me they both use it and have it used against them, so how can my opinion be based on "Because OKW have it"?
When OKW were first intorduced, they gimped certain things, over time they became more and more "equal" this is a mechanic that needs to change. I've already said that I am perfectly OK with giving them more resources for actual wrecks but simply remove the ability to freely deny a fully functioning team weapon for no penalty, I don't understand how you cant see this mechanic as being a bit much, if any faction had it, I would say the same thing, this isnt just an OKW hate train.
Even the UKF sappers with salvage, cant salvage team weapons that are not destroyed and they are doctrinal.
Ability duration is always 11s regardless of how many models. For Sturmpioneers too.

Say that it takes the 11 seconds, that is still far too fast, just look at it on the video, 9 seconds of actuall salvaging a weapon right outside the enemy base, now time how long it would take to get a unit from the base to the AT gun.
The AT gun is gone, no way to recover it, you cant chase the squad down thats stolen it, its just gone, for free, with no cost of MP, with "11" seconds of time for 1 squad that has taken away 320mp. The ability is so so powerful. The amount of times I have flanked team weapons with no way to destroy them. If I want to steal them it costs MP and if I want to destroy it I have to take much longer than "11" seconds and put a squad of AT units, AT gun or a tank to shoot at it (and probably miss 90% of the shots" along with risking losing an AT gun (if I am using that to destroy it).
Start at 17 seconds, it wont seem to let me link it at the time stamp, it takes me 22 seconds (from 20 - 42) to finally retreat the AT gun that was firing at the Rak from close range. Yes RNG is playing its part but its a core mechanic of the game, removing that and making something 100% is clearly broken, is it not? People hate snipers for the same reason, casters like Dane are very vocal on that point but at least the sniper doesnt remove 320MP in "11 seconds".
It is crazy good and it is simply an oversight. Wrecked weapons not an issue at all, take the time to destroy the team weapon and then salvage it for more reward. Not just delete it from existance in an eye blink because you managed to wipe it with the same squad that can then just walk upto it and salvage it.
Are you guys for fucking real? Do you completely ignore the fact that okw can't build their own caches because they have salvage? It's a rather risky trade buy no one's bats an eye about it.
A single cache y safer and long term more reliable than destroying an hmg in the middle of a battleground.
How many caches do you see in 1v1? Its already been pointed out that all you have to do is smoke it and then salvage, its not as hard as everyone seems to make out. Have a big push, win, salvage team weapons with 1 squad whilst the rest move on.
wut... i mean... yeah okw can salvage, but that's time being wasted, and honestly i'd rather take a team weapon. If i can't ignore it for the favour of map control, and destroy it with other means.
Either okw is far ahead to be able to stop and salvage, or he;s not a good player.
Also the resource you get from that is negligible. you'd get more from map control then one team weapon.
Also, stop losing your team weapons. that's how you lose

So you are all OK with a unit being able to remove a team weapon from the game faster than a tank shooting at it could and for the cost of, absolutley nothing?
As it stands this ability is completely insane. It allows the removal of team weapons within seconds and at a cost of... FA.
The RA that the unit gains whilst the ability is active is a nice counter, but when they remove a weapon within such a short time, you can't really take advantage of this.
Either increase the time it takes to remove a full HP weapon or remove the ability to do that and give more for destroyed weapons or just give them caches ffs.
You cant balance for anything beyond 1v1 2v2, not really. There are far too many variable to account for, unless something is really glaring, but that would be caught in the lower levels.
I would encourage anyone trying to figure out how to get heavies to work to look at vanilla COH1 and understand how they impacted the game, their timing, and their scaling.
Ive always wondered why game modes dont have unique resource/CP income, is it even possible? That way 4v4's dont end up with 5 minute Tigers (exageration of course) and each gamemode is paced similarly. That would at least cause those game modes to be more conservative rather than spammy.
All the heavies are wildly overpowered right now. They've been balanced against mediums the way mediums are balanced against lights, just without the 120ish FU teching barrier.
Every game is heavies because the most cost-efficient counter to a heavy is another heavy.
UKF hangs head in shame. The croc is good, was OP as fook but now isnt used because of how fast it seems to die, same goes for the AVRE. I dont use any of the Soviet heavies so I dont know how they pan out and I see the Pershing is quite similar to how the Tiger 1 is currently.
It really ruins games when almost every shot kills 2+ models even when on retreat, you cant even make a mistake and get out alive, you have to have almost the perfect engagements every time and retreat very fast.
