Thread: Sweepers in half track's shouldn't detect mines.4 Apr 2020, 01:07 AM The only problem with this is the Tootsy strat in which he can put a double zook RE with a sweeper in a halftrack and then not hit Tellers or Schu mines. Although I think the problem stems from sweeper not taking up a weapon slot on RE's allowing them to upgrade 2x Zooks and still carry the sweeper. Although with Special Weapons seeing buffs next patch maybe the Brit M5 might see some usage in this manor as well with Royal Engineers being the same as Echelons. In: COH2 Balance
Thread: Tiger main gun nerf too much? (Winter patch)21 Mar 2020, 22:06 PM I voted yes but with a caveat, I don't think the AOE should go back to what it was before but I do believe the Tiger should at least have an AOE that is similar to the IS-2/Pershing in the patch. I was for the extra tech requirements for heavy tanks to delay them without adding extra CP's which are slower in team games but if the AOE isn't reduced at all heavies would still be the meta in 1's and 2's for sure. Not sure exactly how the AOE distance effects the Tiger as maybe that could be improved as well but ideally I want all heavies to be similar in performance. In: COH2 Balance

Thread: Please Fix Guard Motor Coordination and Counterattack in 2v217 Mar 2020, 07:47 AM I think the only thing about Guard Motor I find a bit too strong is the 85 considering its cheaper than the OKW P4 and also has Mark Target in this commander allowing it to easily beat out any armor around its cost. I think its performance would be more justified if it was 140 fuel at least. In: COH2 Balance

As for doctrinal abilities those can simply be caped if the combined effect is too much or/and replaced with another bonus. Wouldn't it be easier to just tweak the Tier 4 buff instead of going into all of those commanders and changing stats on abilities that really aren't overpowered and haven't been. In: COH2 Balance

Stormjäger Think about it this way: If a slight buff to a non-meta commander turns it into a faction crutch, what's the real issue here? The commander or the faction? My opinion is that Mobile Defense will be niche, but usable, which is a good thing. Keep in mind that the 25% capture rate buff at Tier 4 will also stack with Counterattack Tactics in this commander. Plus Assault Grenadiers get a capture rate buff when they get their 6th man that will stack with this. Assault and Hold in German Infantry also will stack. So this could become a problem. Thread: Winter balance mod 2020 V1.310 Mar 2020, 21:39 PM I think another possible issue will be Mobile Defense taking over the meta against Soviets in 1v1 since the T-70 is still going to remain extremely powerful and difficult to stop unless the opponent doesn't sweep and drives into a teller mine. Puma is going to be a no brainer unit against the T-70 and with other buffs coming in for the commander (Ostruppen Reinforce Cost at Tier 4 and Target Size Reduction for Command P4) I am worried that even though the commander itself might not become overpowered, its going to become the meta and reduce variety within the game. Thread: Winter balance mod 2020 V1.310 Mar 2020, 05:25 AM Overall probably the best patch notes of the Winter Balance Mod, only thing I would look at is like ShadowLink said the capping speed buff for Ostheer with Tier 4. Since it's all squads it probably should be reduced unless it was just Grens and Ostruppen that would receive it. Not sure about if Pio's should have it as well but this could be a bit too strong especially on larger maps. In: COH2 Balance
