Thread: how to deal vs good opponent who plays ostruppen ?28 Jun 2020, 06:53 AM Honestly I think the only thing you can really do is rely on the M-42 and Dshk to help deal with the vehicles and P-Grens. Flamer HT does so much damage that even getting a snare off is difficult. Early weapon upgrades can help against them as well, namely SVT's. Go Tier 2 so you have Zis for late game and try to avoid pushing Ostruppen in cover since they are going to trade better than Cons. Wish you could at least get the M5 earlier to help deal with light vehicles. In: Red Army Strategies

Thread: Making OKW Battlegroup viable8 Jun 2020, 11:43 AM I would say if the Luchs was added to Battlegroup, it would probably need a slight fuel increase to 65 or the truck would at least need to made more expensive. Maybe it could cost 40 fuel plus the 15 for the SwS truck. Luchs timing would be slightly faster than before but you wouldn't have the Puma to help deal with counters to the Luchs so it would be a tradeoff. Maybe if the truck got an increase in price, it could come with medics automatically. FRP could probably be slightly reduced in cost to 250 mp or so. But what Sander said actually wouldn't be bad either to have it as a support truck to backtech to. In: COH2 Balance
Thread: USF M20 dead?6 Jun 2020, 07:06 AM I think the M20 just simply comes too late to have any decent window except for if OKW goes for the Luchs but even then the problem tends to be that its too fragile without the skirts dying in two fausts I believe. I think if skirts were slightly cheaper or even came with the M20 or were free but just required the upgrade maybe you could squeeze a little more of the slim window it has, or would at least save some muni to go towards Zooks/Bars. Although I would probably like to see a slight nerf to the 50 cal to compensate as LT is widely considered to be prefered in 1v1 although I like Captain in the Ostheer matchup. Issue is making the 222 come later would make life even rougher against USF and Brits with AEC/AAHT/Stuart all having good timings. In: COH2 Balance
Thread: Ostheer bonuses to BP329 May 2020, 23:43 PM I think allowing Ostheer to upgrade the 5-man upgrade from German Infantry non-doctrinally from either Tier 4 or BP3 would be a nice addition. If you want the upgrade much earlier at 2 CP you have to go for the commander instead. But then you keep buffing powercreep which is partially why Grens struggle in the first place. In: Lobby
