Overall the changes are reasonable although I expected some new additions. There are a lot of units that need some buffs: M3 Half-track (health), flammpanzer 38 (damage), regular SdKfz 251 (slight supression), OKW flak-halftrack (health or better combat capabilities), Churchill smoke shouldn't slow down, pathfinders (damage), the sapper anvil package should be cheaper, the Panther should be better against infantry, the howitzers (precision or reload speed)... |
This patch looks really good. I would add a small fuel increase for the Cromwell, a slight increase of cost for the partisans and a tank hunter team for OKW with panzerschrecks (or a switchable panzerschreck for the sturmpios with the mine detection package for 100 munis). But, aside from this, the patch looks great.

Elite Doctrine vs. Shock Rifle Frontline. A lot of MG 42s and stormtroopers, pak 40s, panzer IV, Stug IIIs and a Tiger Ace vs. shock troopers, a lot of AT guns, maxims, T-70, KV-8 and an IS-2. |
So instead of getting killed by a 30 munition mine, you'd be guaranteed wiped by any grenades, SMG units or flame damage outside the door!
The HMG, with its delayed exit of houses because of the disassembling of the weapon, are completely fine. If you don't retreat them when there's an obvious threat coming you deserve to lose models or the entire squad, depending on the amount of enemy firepower incoming. |
The models should exit the buildings one by one and it should take some time. This would make grenades more useful too, because with the insta-exit of the buildings you can just avoid them. |
The current system it's not horrible, but it should be complemented with a non-doctrinal medic team because during the mid/late game it's just too difficult to micro the healing.
With medics the use of pyrotechnics will increase too, probably. Nowadays I never use it because it just slow down the healing of my squads. |
A 75 minute intense match with Luftwaffe Ground Forces using Königstigers, a cloaked jagdpanzer, a panther, a panzer IV, supressing obersoldaten, and lots of voks and raketens vs. Heavy Cavalry using Pershings, a jackson, a stuart, rangers, rifleman, a couple of pack howitzers, browning HMGs...

At the mid game I was a little bit passive to be able to do all the teching and get tanks because as USF the manpower starvation is problematic when you have a lot of infantry. But, anyways, the cast is great, thanks! |
