Thread: Relic: All About Balance!1 Apr 2015, 15:41 PM With how small the community is for this game I feel like leagues, and separating "better" players from "worse" players will only lessen the community more. I don't mind being matched up to players better than me, it helps me learn, and develop into a better players, especially when I watch my replays. In: COH2 Balance

However there are a couple of problems with it: 1. Pins too quickly if it hits multiple enemy models. 2. Shots that come very close to a squad (but do minimal damage) do not suppress. My Suggestion: 1. It would be nice if the shells didn't pin the enemy squad at all - why? It just seems silly that infantry would stay in one position while under indirect fire (until they are ordered to retreat). Another option would be to turn down the suppression value so if they do get pinned it would be after they've already been suppressed for some time. Moreover, imagine a fallshrimjaeger squad is attempting a frontal assault on a Pak howitzer - a lucky shell hits the squad, killing 2 models, just as they enter grenade-throw range - but they are pinned. I personally can't wait to play with and against a more balanced OKW. My post was a joke,really, and only someone that loves axis with all their heart and soul would be upset with what I wrote. I'm excited about this patch, like any USF player would be. I think you're getting too upset that USF is finally not little brother anymore, I too am excited for USF. But I just came from a 4v4 game on Rostov (no patch applied yet) playing USF on the bad side with randoms and won against 2 OKW and 2 Ost. That doesn't really prove anything but I can tell you that I felt like swimming in fuel and built multiple tanks no problem. When playing OKW I always had the feeling that I could buy one (1) armored unit if I wanted to get the KT out. I stormed the Island with one Jackson, one M10, one Sherman and a few rifles (so playing with the "bad" commander, with a "bad" unit, on the wrong side and pre-patch... and won.) Took out his Panther but lost alot myself. Rebuilt and Went in again and he had managed to get Another Panther out. Killed that one too although I took losses as well because it wasn't a super assault, my tanks were shooting at infantry although I targeted Panther. Never saw any KT on my side. When outnumbering axis with armored units, it doesn't really matter if the individual armored units axis have are good or slightly better. And they are not even better except for the KT. Because they have less tanks. Because they can't afford it. That's what I feel when playing axis, that's what I got confirmed again going back playing allies. A decent analysis, yet if the roles were reversed and it was the Panther that killed the Sherman, M10 and Jackson it would be a L2P issue according to the Axis player. Really, it's going to take some testing with the new patch to see how things are all we can do right now is just speculate. My biggest problem isn't with one Panther, it's when in a team game you go up against multiple panthers, tiger, KTs. No number of Jacksons or AT guns n the world could stop that assault in this game. There is no reason the Allied shouldn't have proper way to counter this without being locked into a specific Doctrine, that isn't fun gameplay. If a game goes longer than 30 minutes well Allieds are sure to lose unless someone stocked up on 1000s of MUNI to call in P47 after P47. Because there are going to be a lot of TIGERS and KTs and PANTHERS coming their way. In: Lobby

The reaction to a long deserved change is "Okay this is good, lets analyze it" not "LOL U MAD GUYZ HAHAHAHA". What do you expect when Axis only players cheer and proclaim "L2P" when they win with Volks, Ober blobs. Playing against a OKW player like that (not all OKW players are like that) is like playing against a 13 year old on Xbox live.. people will get a tad upset playing against OKW players like that.
