Thread: How to farm War Spoils20 Mar 2015, 16:04 PM Just let it run again from 5AM to 9AM, hopped on to find that I have gotten 4 war spoils: two of which I already own, but I am happy with the ones I didn't get as dupes. Oberkommando 10% less build time for everything, pretty happy considering that I'm quite the fan of the Fortifications Doctrine. Sucks to say one of the things I did get that I already own is a commander, specifically one I decided to pay for... Looks like I'm the proud owner of two Elite Troop Doctrines! Oh, I now also own four "Swift Move" bulletins, 10% movement speed for sWs Supply Halftracks, don't even have the slots to make use of them all. I also got a winter skin for the Oberkommando, can't say I don't love my Western Front skins, sunk at least half of my game time (1300 hours) into the WFA factions and still only have about 4 skins from actual drops, 1 for the US and 3 for the Ober, they're all winter skins. Surprised by how random the drops are, 14 hour game = 3 war spoils and 4 hour game = 4 spoils, pretty insane if you ask me... In: COH2 Gameplay
Thread: How to farm War Spoils18 Mar 2015, 02:51 AM Jump back to quoted post17 Mar 2015, 21:35 PMscratchedpaintjob 3 Spoils for 13 hours is extremely low, normally you would expect around 6. to get everything you want you will still need loads of time! i have farmed around 500-600 hours and now i have all WFA-commanders and most of the soviet and wehrmacht ones. but it seems, that relic wants do do something about duplicates, so they may come in handy at some point! Yeah, I really didn't expect to get everything I wanted, but I sure did expect more than three spoils! I have looked into duplicates quite a bit, think Cynthia responded to a Steam forum regarding a trading feature in game saying they plan on adding a bit more community suggestions for war spoils, but I think it's been awhile since this was posted. It was around the same time they were doing those surveys, I think. In: COH2 Gameplay
Thread: How to farm War Spoils17 Mar 2015, 16:44 PM I went to bed around 7:30PM yesterday because I was super tired, decided to let this run overnight, wake up this morning (9AM) and only got three war spoils. Two of which I already own. One of them a commander I bought last week, one was a bulletin for the Luchs which I already own, and another to make Russian snipers move 5% faster. I know it was working all night, as I woke up this morning it was 11 minutes into a game and I had only lost connection once last night, shown by my steam chat with a friend telling me I had and reconnected. I fired the arty on the enemy base to end it to see what I had got, and was really disappointed. 14 hours and only three drops? I know there are no ways to regulate dupes put in place (obviously), but don't you think they could maybe do something to, I don't know, not have to wait forever just to get something you'd be the least bit interested in? Just absurd! Not sure if I have EXTREMELY bad luck or the game knew something was going on. In: COH2 Gameplay
