Thread: Kv2 Underperforming?28 Sep 2019, 00:55 AM Personal think that it's veterancy could just do with a shack up. Vet 1 is nice, Vet 2 gives you more range (same as every other heavy tank) non-seige and off seige mode. Also 50% turret rotation Vet 3 gives more health (+160) better acceleration and for some reason another 30% turret rotation. Really its vet isn't that good and the extra rotation is kind of pointless after vet 2. Seige mode reload bonus was neft in favour to make non-seige mode more attractive but the veterancy dosnt really support that (or iver mode). Compare it's vet to the ISU and IS2.I think it's vet isn't good enough. Edit: forgot to mention the extra health replaced the speed bonus at vet 3(Also sorry for all the auto corrects on my phone In: COH2 Balance

Thread: Soviet September patch discussion2 Sep 2019, 10:25 AM Can assault guards have their vet requirements adjusted to be the about the same as other soviet elite infantry? They have the requirements highest of all of them. Received accuracy can probably remain the same since they are quite potent with penals svt rifles and tommyguns. Also still not convinced about the kv2, personally think its vet should be buffed. Health bonus moved to vet 2, weapon rotation at vet 3 removed with vet 2 weapon rotation spread across vet 2 and 3. In place at vet 3 a reload buff as after this patch will be the only tank in the game without one. Probably too late through. In: COH2 Balance

They should have the 7th man unlocked if you tech tier 4 at lease. Edit: it feels like a nerf to those who tech directly to tier 4 going conscript builds. In: COH2 Balance

In static mode, through manual fire control, you can do huge damage, thanks to this KV-2 will remain popular. Not sure if I'm correct but in the mod tools, indirect fire mode is still 10 to 12 seconds reload (reload bonus multiplier was change to 0.75 from 0.5 after the revamp). So you can have as low as 7.5 or as high as 9 second reload time (direct fire is 9 seconds). But yeah, range increase to 70 same as isu but increases at vet 2. In: COH2 Balance

The only controversial solution is a new ability - I bring changes, but this ability is very strange: it has a very long response time, during which time the enemy infantry can easily leave even without retreat, if you consider it as an anti tank, the ability here is the same problem . That is, this ability is needed against static things like a bunker, but it doesn’t make much sense - ordinary shots are quite successful in dealing with this. I do agree that the gun needed fixing but again, I think you will find the kv2 will go back into obscurity with a very few situations where it may be more useful. It's not about vet, it's about the main gun - the IS-2 main gun does not cause damage - there is no damage - there is no vet, no matter how good it is. Um, how is it not about vet? Vet is always important to get a better edge over other units. And what do you mean about the is2 main gun? Have you even tried the new one? I know the kv2 vets better because no matter what's it's up against it will gain vet. In: COH2 Balance
