We've been ascended to heavens garden and now have to walk in knee deep crap again, its hard. I might play a couple of games, but I'm so used to NDA changes already that it'll be probably a torment. As someone who rarely agrees with katitof for once I am with him. Alpha was like heaven, like all glaring problems have been fixed - maybe there were minor nuisances but nothing gamebreaking. It was fun to play different strategies and play against different strategies and all we get is Analguard Motor EDIT: Its not that bad as that thought. Thread: Patch notes for 23rd June18 Jun 2015, 09:03 AM I am happy to see these alpha changes being implemented - although I am not 100% content with all of them. However that will probably apply to everyone. It is ofcourse a mild let down that just these few changes are implemented as of yet and have wished to see all alpha related balance and design changes implemented. On the other hand I can follow relic's reasoning of doing it in steps. I am, an developer myself, actually a supporter of an iterative development cycle throughout the complete lifetime of product. That means: I would love relic to get out balance patches - or patches in general - in an fixed cylce of like 6-8 weeks each(look at CCP from Eve-Online) but then again this is just my personal opinion. So all in all I am happy and looking forward to test out the changes. In: Lobby

Do you also think countered=wiped for infantry? If a tank(or TD) can't operate without exposing itself to lethal danger, its already countered, you're not fighting it, its parked in the back, doing nothing. 2 ZiS guns will deter JP4 from chasing or positioning too forward. AT doesn't need to KILL a unit to counter it, if opponent can't use the unit freely without the punishment, you already countered it in that area. You don't expect to kill every single infantry squad you encounter, why do you think you should kill much more expensive armor? For once I agree with Katitof. Having more than once JP4 on the field is a liability for OKW. So if you have a zis or even two around the IV/70 can shoot once or maybe twice before being forced to retreat. At that point you can safely put up /85s or use the zis' barrage to force a breakthrough In: COH2 Balance
