The vickers would probably be the worst here since it has a tendency to kill models and then suppress. Situationally the Vickers and maxim trade that title I feel. The Vickers can kill too fast for it's own good but it also has the wider arc so they can't escape fire as easily. And at least the Vickers is good at one thing. The maxim is just meh at both In: COH2 Balance

Don't expect MGs to survive multiple squads frontally while they're not in cover. The maxim regularly fails at it. I don't know how the OP jumped to "all allied MGs" but the maxim still needs to be spammed to handle blobs In: COH2 Balance

Yes, but I worded my point poorly. There's a delay timer that determines how quickly the plane begins its strafe from when you click. One is trash and trades early game combat presence for capping really fast, and the other is a troop transport which has serious wiping potential as well as a very decent lmg upgrade which contributes a fair amount of bleed. I didn't compare them. I literally just gave reasons why you shouldn't compare them. Then you decided to explain that a more expensive doctrinal unit performs better than a cheaper stock one. Well you can't nerf 2 units for the same reason when one of them is doctrinal and costs fuel and the other is stock and a cheap mp cost. In: COH2 Balance

Probably not worth the risk of dropping the BAR imo. I agree I don't think its worth the risk at all. Right I just wasn't sure if Tommys got overridden when merged with other slot weapons since they cant be dropped. In: COH2 Gameplay
