Too expensive to build for light armour when you have zooks or stuart available, too weak to use against heavy tanks. Not an entirely useless unit but certainly highly situational. I intended to put this in the list, but I know some people will jump in, tell me it's fine and use Jackson instead. In: COH2 Balance

No one ever builds it, and compared to all the (anti-blob) artillery the other factions get this is basically a hugely overpriced howitzer on wheels. Already added. I love the Flak HT, it's my most favourite unit when playing OKW. It's like a suppressing and more defensive Luchs. You just have to mikro it a bit and keep in mind of the aiming time bug, but otherwise I love that thing. Actually, after you play USF, you will understand why Flak HT is not that good. Before OKW was redesigned, Flak HT fuel timing is 40(tier2)+40(cost)-40(start)=40/0.67=60 fuel When OKW was being redesigned, the first truck can come out immediately, thus OKW flak track cost is increased to 55 fuel. Now, after push back OKW tier2 because of luch, tier1 was also affected, and the Flak HT fuel timing is 40(tier2)+55(cost)-10(start)= 85 fuel I notice this when I was still convinced that FlakHT is okay. But after getting outtech by USF, I recheck again and realize why. Btw, USF HT is 50 fuel only and way superior to OKW. In: COH2 Balance

I think every faction should have a non-doctrinal suppression platform. After Kubel change, I think this makes sense. I think every factions should have rocket artillery, so it makes sense that US have calliope non-doc and UK have Land Mattress. I also think every faction should have heavy tank. After all, it makes sense that Soviet should be able to purchase IS2 and USF can purchase Pershing. Great right? Who need commanders when you can have everything non-doctrine. Not to mention it's OKW, the faction that has least dependance on commanders. In: COH2 Balance

All of these prove that they don't scale well, bleed like hell, are useless in late game. He was into maxim and weapon team spam before this, and we beat his force to mincemeat, hence why no vet scale. After that he uses cons spam. And as if they are useless, even 3 HMG does not work on that blob size. (not to mention the arty support firing on weapon team) But I'm not here to prove conscript is useless or useful. What I'm trying to say to when you want to buff conscript, remember that there are dozens of support ability along with them. Don't make a new broken meta just because you can only see a dot in a picture. In: COH2 Balance
