The cover is useless, especially versus most axis units that will just blow the crew regardless of cover. Again your theorycrafting is great but in reality it just doesn't work. And why the hell would I keep paying a shitton of munitions to MAYBE penetrate one shot against a tank when I'm playing the most munition-hungry faction on the game? In: COH2 Balance

It is completely viable against any medium armor and quite decent (for its cost) against heavies with activated HVAP shells. so? It went from completely useless to borderline mediocre, great... still useless in 90% of the cases since axis infantry will just shred the crew in seconds, or it will get one shotted by a PIV or tiger/kt. Jackson is the only thing USF have late game to defend against tanks since everything else either sucks or are too expensive to use. And jacksons cost way too much compared to what axis get.
