as soviets use ZiS barrage as blob denial, all you need is one shell to ruin some blobber day. Soviet mortar is also okay but kinda expensive IMO |
Snipers always work if you know how to preserve it.

this is what makes me mad, snipers just don't die, especially the WM, last time I played against it my cromwell landed TWO shots on him and he still fled with a sliver of health...
the only silverlining is that snipers award an INSANE ammount of veterancy when taking damage so even if you keep a sniper alive you might get hurt in the long run since the enemy will have several vetted units. |
Last time I checked, grens aren't crippled by being out of cover and cost signigicantly less.
Not that there is something wrong with 5 man grens, its a matter of adaptation(notice how there is whine about every singular new ability now, only commisar whine hasn't started, but its only a matter of days I bet).
comissar is pretty good and rewards players with good micro and situation awareness.

bleed how?! you can easily dominate the field when you don't have to retreat, and since 5 man upgrade makes healing free your MG/PaKs will always be ready to fight.
All you need a little more micro to move the HT around to reinforce your troops.
With HT you have transport+reinforce+healing all on the frontlines, insanely good. |

Not only that, but now the gren blob + halftrack (for reinforcing purposes) are stronger than ever. |
How to fix KT:
- adjust AOE of main gun to Brummbar profile and buff scatter a bit;
- lower veterancy requirements;
- remove Blitzkrieg, move Spearhead to vet 1, put (~)+30% faster turret rotation at vet 3.
These changes give reliable AI, change nothing regarding its natural counters, but make its vet more accessible and adress the biggest performance issue (turret traverse).
If after implementation, these changes prove to still not be quite enough:
- lower cost to somewhere around 650-700MP and 240-260FU.
to do that you have to lower the damage of the gun (it's more than 160) which means that Mediums will become a super threat to KT.

Is there any real difference between more accuracy and less scatter?
It's a giant one, especially in scenarios where you are firing uphill for example, no matter how low scatter is it will always hit the ground, but if you roll a hit it won't stop on any objects until it hits the intended target. |
Game is great in team games, wth you talking about? You probably want the "good" old days of multiple heavies and arty fest sprinkled with skillplanes.
Best thing that ever happened to coh was limit heavies and make them high pop cost meaning that mediums can have their places in late game. |
Don't even bother with LT vs WM, M1 and pack howies are way too good to not have it, and you probably won't be facing infantry blobs to justify needing .50 cal |
