Lack of playerbase is first reason - can't do much about it.
Another reason is every single AT has its own ELO, resulting in varied results from varied ATs.
What this means is that a really good player forms AT with someone who he never played with will be matched with practically anyone for the first 10 matches that determine that AT's ELO. |
Don't spread your troops capping alone except maybe one conscript squad.
120mm mortar is very good here - if you wipe the vet3, the OST just might ragequit. |
Sometimes you gotta give up some land and minimize losses. Try to get back by assaulting with a critical number rather than holding dearly to certain spots of interest. It's all very situational, of course... |
Raketen werfer in T0, cheap, can retreat(!) and sit in buildings. Plz buff......................................................
If you think crew weapons retreat without a problem, you are not playing this game.
It's not cheap either and dies to vehicles very easily due to lack of shield on other AT guns. |
I am by no means a pro but here is my suggestions:
1) Don't attempt to close in on rifles with your sturms unless short distance, they will get wrecked on the way in. They aren't as strong as they once were.
2) Both you and your partner need to work on unit preservation; retreat units don't let them get squad wiped.
3) especially vs US, you want AT out by 6-7 mins to counter HT, so I'd recommmend going 3xVolks, Rakenwhatever, T1(or T2 don't matter personal choice), T3 get out obers or fast luchs
4) if your partner is Ostheer I say do what Axis does best: play the waiting game; have him capture a fuel, bunker up and hold it and if he can do it well have him throw in an opel truck to aid OKW player if possible.
opels don't work on allied players anymore, just heads up on that. |
|
The main issue with the OKW is the simple might of their infrantry that blobed together create a creature capable of stoping any army without any kind of vehicle support. I can even live with a 100% muni and fuel income on OKW if all units would be changed to adjust, and also the New OKW would be forced to use vehicles to gain mid game dominance beacuse of the inefectivnes of their infrantry. So far in team games my OKW enemies tend to not build any kind of vehicle beacuse they rush the KT, or JT, and the lack of vehicles really doesnt slow them down.
OKW players would be happier with that. Expect 6 minute luchs, as current luchs rush is around 8-9 minutes in 1v1.
..but seriously, Relic would NEVER change/adjust the entire roster. This is a given. |
I would love to see the meta with more extended mid game engagements, only heave armor or call in super late in the games. I want to see more T-34s vs P4 + Stug battles instead of these heavy armor mess.
I gave a lot of thought into that area but Relic clearly wants players to utilize heavy armor within a reasonable gameplay time (around 30 minute mark), so I doubt anything is going to change in that regard.
Either it's going to escalate into bigger units quickly or it'll be too prohibiting to field them at all which would be just as bad.
Whats your stance on this matter? |

Agree, I mean, how silly and unrealistic it is for sturmtiger to one shot infantry squads.
Not to mention its unfair.
It should never one shoot infantry, armor or support weapons, each should always survive with 1 men for normal squads and 2 for support weapon, otherwise it'll keep being imbalanced unit forever.
380mm rocket? Huge ass explosion? Deafening sound? Who cares about that, it should not one shot kill anything, because its OP.
Terrible comparison, unless you're suggesting ISU range to be nerfed to 20ish with 1 minute reload time with the option of being decrewed if hit during reload... |
Conclusion : Germany had the best TANK CREW.
With all the claims that Tiger was an inferior, haphazard machine yet somehow came out with the results recorded.... we can only conclude the above, more or less.
Unless these people are just determined to undermined the other side so bad that they go far as to find whatever "source" that will support their claims...aye...
One thing about the sloped armor : It cramps the insides so bad, the exhaustion actually limits its scope of operations.
Besides, T-34s could not change gears on the move.... Just think how maneuverable that would be. |
